  • Shaolin Engine tweaks

Am building a suzuki shaolin for a fellow friend with a few mods to the engine. Thought I'd share a few pics with fellow shaolin riders. Am using the VR150 piston + a few crank mods. The rest of the stuff eventually. Here's a few pics. The crank pics are when it was freshly taken off

Any change in gearing or sprocket to take advantage of the manic power of this mod?

                    small update:

split the crank and got the webs cleaned with my new ultrasonic cleaner
attached pics of the stock shaolin rod v/s the rod I intend to use.
also the stock roller bigend has shorter and less number of rollers as compared to the upgrade. Not to mention the rod allows me to use a much bigger piston and a RD/RZ gudgeon pin bearing.

                    Cheers

dont tell me u burned the rod so that you can remove the name or brand of the rod. So that no one can copy :-)

When can i send my Rd carbs for cleaning?

ah ok. i got one of those barrels in TVS packing with SAM piston. some say they are good. and some say they are not OEM. Would u be able to do something abt that barrel.
                              need the crank rebuilt anyway.

Planning to get the cycle parts and cosmetic stuff done up locally in the next 10 days.
so please PM me abt the stuff
