Apologies for rekindling an old thread. But to your point Rohan, and IMHO, the conrods are not a direct swap between the Suzuki series and Yamahas.

Does anyone know if the shogun and ax100 con rod is the same and specs ? Length etc. I found some tkrj conrods but want to make sure it’s accurate before I buy.

Depends wt do u want out the restoration
if u want to rebuild the bike with maximum or complete NOS parts then it can go beyond 70k.
can be restored under 70k & it will be worth it. Always is.

And how much are you expecting for the OEM exhaust ?

I would also be interested in the FIEM mirrors if they are in good condition.

I am hoping that i can still find spare parts for the Shogun here. I am rebuilding my bike(model year- 2000).
Need the following parts: 1] 0.75mm oversize piston kit ( no unreliable, low quality brands). 2] Clutch housing & hub. 3] Connecting rod with both end bearings
It would be great if anyone can help me with any of these parts or alteast tell me where i can try and get them.

Yes Std. bore will be far better from a re-bored one. If you use a SGP piston for the standard bore you could increase the bore life when compared to the SAM pistons as you get as OE. Yes you are absolutely right it is restricted in power because the samurai and max100 has only 2 petals for the reed valve where as in Ax-100 and Supra you have a 3 petal reed.
