@Tanay: Its the same old helmet, just repainted and stickered.

I use a two piece rain coat over my usual riding gear, saves me from most of the rain. Except for the shoes and gloves part.

Yes, pace is still the same. But I still can't set avg. speeds like before. I guess that will come with time.

Wishing you many more successful miles with motorcycles.

PS: I think you should get a new lid immediately, as you said this one hit the median!!
    Thank you for the wishes.

I din't want to settle down with another GPR/AGV/Cross this time so I am holding onto my purchase of the helmet just for a few weeks before which I can purchase a better helmet this time.

Nice and crisp log, Praful. Time heals everything. Good that you hit the tarmac to feel the flavour of biking once again.
BTW, what make is your riding gloves?

Awesome trip log!!!! Wish I had joined you on the Mysore Bylakuppe stretch, although I don't like riding in the rain

And w.r.t to the accident, you didn't look a wee bit fazed when I met you during the Tri State G2G and you seemed to be going great guns and led the group very well. Of course, nothing like an uneventful ride to restore the confidence!!

              Ride safe!!

Bangalore-Mumbai run covering about 1000+ kms in around 13 hours comfortably
                        Saddle sore?

The locations are mesmerizing Praful or is it due to your magic touch on the lens? Either way, pics are way too beautiful & sharp like your crips writing. Keep them coming.

I'd advise you stay away from the Bylakuppe stretch for the coming few months then!

Don't know if I was great guns or not, but definitely not completely confident about me or my bike at that point of time.

Good to see that you are inspired and going to ride. All the very best. Ride safe bro!

The last G2G that we rode together last year was much before this incident happened. Anyways, shit happens! No one can predict this sorrta stuff... It just happens if lady luck has decided to frown upon you.

Veda has recovered and rides his bike again, but no more biking for him. Atleast not for now.

I don't like the Saddle sore business, IMHO and no offence to all the brave souls who have done it. I just find it to be a waste of good petrol! Anyways, I was 600 kms short of a saddlesore.

I'm pretty sure it was the mesmerizing locale's, coz I am still an amateur with the lens. Glad you like the pics and the story to go with it.

@Aargee: Quite frankly I'd rather save that fuel for a ride to the hills!

There isn't any more. The pictures and log ended with the Epilogue.

Nope, no preferential treatment to either...

Both have their respective areas of expertise and their services shall be called upon when the ever the situation demands it. But yes, the 220 is my daily commute!
