  • Pulsar-ing up in Uttaranchal !!!

Introduction :- Somebody very boldly said that “ Its not the destination what matters, its all about the journey” . With this in mind I called up my tour planner to make out an tour which has to comprising of the 2 days which I had free. One being 14th Aug SAT & other being 15th Aug ,Sunday. I know lot many people were regretting about the fact that there was no official “Chutti” or holiday in English, for the Independence Day celebrations. Though most of the Indians do not celebrate the occasion with much happiness regardless of the holiday or not for most of us including yourself is just an another day where you can meet with the friends or family who are near by . So, back again the to the point with out drifting apart , called up Zayn(the tour planner) on around 5 pm on WED and asked him to find an way out. So,as we all know with all his caliber he was able to find an destination for me , again I had very less clue about. This time it was somewhere again in Uttaranchal as it was green, clean and closer. As I have done in the earlier I had given all my free day to him and was open to any trip which will bring me back to Delhi by Sunday night , so that I can again go back to office on Monday morning .

    Plan :- Ride into Dhanaulti,UK

    Riders :
    Zayn
    rpmboy aka Uday

    Bikes:
The all new Blue P220F - wants to clear the run-in period ridden by ZAYN
The trusted Black P150 DTSi 06'- just to add more kms in oddo.

P.S :- Thanks to Zayn for clicking such wonderful/amazing pics !!!

      The initiation summary:
Came back from office late as usual as it was an weekend being Friday. Got everything packed for the ride ,some water resistant goodies as at this time of the year you can expect the heaven to pour upon you. Luckily the night came for which I was thinking from WED and will be remembered for more umber of days as we live more life. For both of us it was our 3rd ride together and so we are very comfortable between us. But the on catch was the new Pulsar 220F of Mr.Zayn. But I was assured that the bike was still under the run-in period which will make the bike cruise at arnd 80kmph roughly.

A quote adjusted with the situation

This is not much to say about but when you come from plains where temp is above 36'C , this looks so motivating

yeh !!! this is going to be next Touring costume of the season !!!! more similar to school dress

Day 1:- with much co-ordination between Zayn + google maps I was going to meet our meeting point at NOIDA. The meeting point was at Zayn’s apptment which from the inside of my heart I knew that I would be unable to trace. After a quick dinner finally managed to have a quick nap and managed to amaze myself by getting awake with an embarrassed face as if I had missed the deadline to meet Zayn for the ride. Tied the backpack to the rear seat and zoomed to Noida via DND Toll Plaza. I found that very easy as it was already 3:15 am now, reached the Flex factory just 2 kms away from Zayn home and requested Zayn to meet me at the new meeting co-ordinate. Thanks to Zayn he came with the new Pulsar220 F amd off we go for our destination. While reaching closer to the main road Zayn realized by seeing my knee guard that he had missed his own way back at home. It was an protection but with the wet conditions of the road expected in the hills I shared my view that he should take the knee guard.
So, we were out of NOIDA by 4:15am . Zayn was leading the twin bike group , I laying behind and enjoying the ‘projected view’ of the 220 dispersing the darkness into an different territory. While going towards the Meerut road we has to manage with quite a bit competition with the truck s and very few ‘DRUNKEN’ cars and some of the few ‘Headless’ sorry helmet less riders, one was the milkman, another was an business man and few other who were acting like the have just returned from an marriage party with loads of spirit in the belly & with all those negative spirits we had for then. Anyways tasting them with our dusts was so easy with both the Pulsar’s as we were in no mood to waste the time with dry sky above our heads. Near Muzzaffar nagar we got drenched & that continued all the way upto Dehradun. From Dehradun we took left turn to Mussoorie.
We took our 1st butt break in Dehradun, had some home cook look-a-like alu paranthas & discussing that this brkfast has now been declared as an official food for bikers in northern India.
While going up into the valley the road became more smooth and more less for traffic towards entering Dhanaulti .

more pics , its the passion of the these words that keeps us riding "xbhp.com"

To our amazement we were at the door step of the Hotel , let it be the JMVN tourist lodge by 12.30pm. According to Zayn we had covered at an good pace and now it was time to explore which is very little present to offer to us from Dhanaulti.
A quick chat with the Hotel manager disclosed that the we were going to spend 990.00 for and room with attach TV,Geyser + complimentery brkfast. With the accomodation which we had been offer was well as the way it was expected. In my mind I had an conception that an Govt hotel would be taken care of an old chowkidar who will become scary at night with simple silence but no it was all good to go. The hotel was also having an nice location just adjecent to the the ECO PARK 2 , and it had some nice view of the beautiful tourists mostly from plains like Delhi, Chd & all those pretty faces. So,kept all the stuff at the hotel including our rain soaked socks , we headed towards the local galore to enjoy. With entry pass of Rs.10 to ECO PARK1 gave us some good shots

Climbing the hill top made us loose some gms from our plain infested flesh !!! the lust for view almost made us leaner by some gms .....h ha ha ha

walking away from the worries of the materialistic pain

some macros for photo muncher !!!!

the new job portal poster ad"STILL STUCK IN SAME JOB,log on to grabmorejobs.com " .........kids dont try this at any other parks

MORE macro's for you , it was blowing so this was the best at this point of time

Something official, remember we were on official visit

This pic depicts the ZOOM capability of Zayn's awsome cam !!!

Again the heaven opened the door to take its own time and make things more clearer , and that makes us both to have some light snacks while sitting on the swing .

A task for Aryan Da-an avid Mirchi lover-pls find the mirchi pakoda on the plate !!!!

the last pic before we return to the hotel room

tired of the rain we come back to the hotel room

this was just the 2nd half of the day more to come for the same day ..........
