Awesome pics and well written short log there ketan...This ride is much needed for me coz i m riding after 4 months. It was very refreshing ride. Enjoyed it very much.We all had blast. Varadayini Waterfall is the biggest waterfall i ever seen till date. Walking through jungle was very refreshing. This place is so beautiful, clean and peaceful. I was feeling like VARDAYAYINI WATERFALL ME RAHUNGA ME, GHAR NAHI NAHI JAUNGA ME. As you guys have seen the pics and that shows that i went crazy over there. Ketan and umesh did awesome job of capturing me while doing crazy things. Will ride there one more time very soon. I would say we all MUMBAI XBHPIAN must visit this place in big group. That will be fun guys. I was tailing because mitesh was riding with us first time and that on NH17 which is little bit risky highway so i did not want to loose him behind. As you said in your log he has very good road sense. Enjoyed riding with you mitesh and with you too ketan:

It'll be a huge group this time. Head count will be close to 50-70 people. We'll be reaching Ratnagadh by eve and then spend the night in caves. We'll be carrying utensils and food to cook there. Next day after exploring the place we'll start the descent.

Same here Mandar bhau.. It was indeed a great pleasure to ride with seniors like both of you. I was a bit tensed in beginning of the ride with fear of loosing track of you guys on NH17 since this was my 1st ride with a small xbhp group & both of you being far more experienced riders then me & also I was riding with the least powerful bike in the group, but as soon as we took off from McD I noticed you being on my tail throughout the JNPT road & I never lost track of you in my rear view mirror so I was pretty relaxed upto NH17. Then Ketan bhau cautioned us at the beginning of NH17 & he leaded while you asked me to follow him & you'll tail us. That was the moment when I got the whole drill & hence I saw the practical example of Xbhp's group riding with experienced riders as Leaders & Sweepers in the group while newbies get to ride within their own potential between them. So thanks to you Mandar bhau that I could ride peacefully at times when I lost sight of Ketan on NH17 admidst those huge lineups of trucks but I never tried to maneuver any risky takeovers just coz I was in relief that you are always there behind me to guide me up if I loose track of the route somewhere.
PS: @Ketan: Thanks to you too bro for slowing down on every occassion & allowing me to catch up with u whenever I was left behind. I wished to apologize to you back then coz maybe you had to cruise at speeds much lesser then you may be traveling usually just because I was relatively a fresh rider in the group.
In nutshell, it was awesome experience to ride with you Pro's.. I truly look forward to many more of such rides in future.

Dude, are trying to embarrass me by saying you wished to apologize to me back then? Hum se kahi kuch galti hui kya?
I never had to slow down for you dude. You were riding so well that I never had to worry about you being left too far behind. You remember I asked you have you ever ridden on NH17 before and you said yes, but never beyond Vadkhal. That's the exact reason I wrote in the log that you had good road sense. Because maintaining correct distance on a two way highway in heavy traffic is never easy and you did a good job. And I was anyway riding at a slower speed because my bike was not in perfect shape. I also had a heavy pillion with me

Even I am looking forward to many more rides with you people in future! Ride safe! Ride Long!

                @ all,
Attaching a few videos which we recorded just for fun during the whole ride. Enjoy!

well thanks a lot for appreciating my riding but i know there's a lot of scope for improvement yet & i'v just begun to ride less then a year ago so still a long long way to go. But i'm sure i wud learn faster in the presence of experienced riders like you to guide on vital issues.
Just wanted to appreciate the effort u both made 2 co-ordinate & guide me coz i was basically unfamilar + new rider in the group. So its coz of experienced riders like you all, newbies wont face that many issues as they would have to otherwise..
PS: Thanks again 4 the raw pics+videos, great clicks bro.. Kudos to U + Umesh.
Pls upload if you wish to, whatever pics you like from the korlai fort pics clicked by us if u get time as i'm not so familiar with uploading pics on xbhp & currently a bit busy.
                    Tc..

Sure man.. Will upload them as and when I get time. The videos especially are great from your cam. Wish I got them before I made that compilation of all the videos of the waterfall trek.

Also it seems you guys had lot of fun at Korlai. When I had gone there last time it was in the month of April. Vistas look totally different after monsoon in the month of September. Enjoyed all the green pics. Thanks for giving'em to me.

Let's plan another short ride soon. You can say the last ride before you get busy with your CA exams

                      Take care bro! Ride safe!
