the lightning 535 is 26 bhp
n what tyke says abt the leaking oil through the pipe is actually extra oil
n it doesent get wasted
it falls on the chain through a pipe
so no need 2 oil chain
n darius the engine , gearbox and crankcase oil capacity is abt 2.3 ltrs( 350 cc) so do carry oil wid u

me and my dad have done a 700 kms trip out of which 496 kms were done in a single day on the bullet 350
n lemme tell u its gr8 munching miles on the bullet
can go all days at 100 kmph
but mileage drops down 2 abt 35
so fuel also!!

Satya, the leaking i mean is not just from the breather tube. The outfow from the breather tube is basically the oil that has been atomised into the blown-by gases and freely issues out of the breather tube. The leakng i meant was the oil seeping out of joints which are only reasonable tight due to the high crank-case pressures builtup because of this thin breather tube size.
The lubing of the chain is just a plus and not the original purpose of this tube.

Anybody interested for a ride to kolkata from mumbai.. kolkata being my native place will stay there for 2-3 days and come back.

If Jonak comes to Mumbai then i will surely be going back riding with him(though will have to bunk college a lot)...and Jonak knows if i come along then i wont let him ride

if you are genuinely doing it this time for sure then have you chalked out any plans??as in route,places to stay overnight during the ride etc....mumbai to kolkata is connected by NH6.....

Am very much serious ... looking for some more riders. right now i have the plan in my mind.. it is alomost 2000 kms one way .. so will cover in 3 breaks.i have chalked out 2 routes. one via Nagpur-Raipur-Sambalpur-Kharagpur and the other one is via Hyderabad - this may be a longer one. will gather more info about stay and other requirements once i will get confirmation about some more riders, staying at Kalyani or mumbai is not a problem ...and am planning to visit my native place in Durgapuja after a long gap of 5 years. so its a very good excuse to ride to kalyani

i just might be in Kolkata during Durga Puja this year...cant really miss that u see...but am not sure whether i will be allowed to ride back....
