Thanks bhai ...Performance of a 220 is very stable at higher altitudes too .. was comfortably climbing hills in 3rd cog. Although at some places of climbing whenever i use to go beyond 6k in lower gears ... it was giving some gapping.
But then i dint fiddle with the carb at all. a slight turn would have solved this problem but still it wasnt a very major one. It performed v.well up there.

          DAY 2

Last night slept at 11pm before that i set the alarm for 6am ... so that i would start the day 2 early in the morning. when did the alarm rang i dint know ... who switched it off still a mystery
was sleeping under cozy three big fluffy blankets ... i woke up Finally saw the time it was already 9.30 am got down from the bed like a ninja .. dint take a bath due to shortage of time [ just needed a reason for it] it was bloody cold man..
within half an hour freshened up myself. splashed some water over me as i was going to visit temples that day
got down from the hotel there were many shops of jalebis went inside one of the hotel had some 100 gms of hot juicy jalebis with curd along with crisp samosas and choley
          Yummy

Wore my riding gears and made sure that i look like an allien to those innocent pahadi people... they started staring at me like zombies :P kids gathered when i was idling my baby .. after few minutes zoomed past 'em.
left nainital at around 10.30 am ... after 2 kms or so .. i was like "ohh damn" my mind said "NOW WHAT !" my heart whispered puncture repairing kit
again mind and heart started confusing me .... this time one said zoom ahead since i was already 3 kms far from hotel and already so late... albeit another said ... roads are all messed up and i was riding solo.. take a U turn and head back to the hotel...
i chose latter this time ... took a U Turn and headed back to the hotel ... after entering Nainital what i found was there were some festive rally uproaching towards me and all cars and two wheelers were on a halt... but the Tornado was the only one who was Roaring and cutting lanes just to reach the hotel as fast as possible...
my bikes exhaust also got a small scratch in this frustrating situation.. courtesy an old scooter front mudguard.. the Old rider of that scooter also shouted at me ... as if i have dented his Lambo ... still i said Sorry Uncle ! he was like who the hell is this guy wearing all those Cricket kit [yes it happened throughout the ride therefore its from now a cricket kit]
anyways after few means reached hotel ... all zombies were waiting for me it seems ... rushed to the room took out the puncture repairing kit and locked the room ... zoomed ahead it was a neat 11am.
Started my journey towards Mukteshwar which was like 60 odd kilometers from nainital all hill ride. Inbetween there were some lovely vistas waiting for me
Was about to reach Bhowali... and What i saw was a horrendous site ... Landslide getting cleared... all cars waiting with engines off..

Roads getting cleared for the traffic

but this time i was lucky because as soon as i reached that spot within 5 mins the roads got open for the traffic.
          The Tornado Posing

After bhowali the road to mukteshwar via Ramgarh was like heaven with such an amazing view of nature which cant be described in words. Anyone can fall for it ... silence all around with birds chirping and monkeys sitting along side to amuse you by doing there antics. You just need nobody because its just you , your bike and Nature at its best.

          Twisties enroute Bhowali

          Blue Sky and big trees

          Useless RVM of P-220

Gave my bike a rest of 5 mins had a water break at Bhowali. Headed towards Ramgarh again .. the small places which came en-route Mukteshwar after Ramgarh were Satbhuga and Bhatilya... people out there were very helpful and they helped me with the directions. The road from Bhowali to Mukteshwar was completely empty ... not even a single car/bike/truck/bus around it was just me and tornado's exhaust roaring in the valley's

          Vista

One more landslide enroute. (Near Ramgarh)

          Satbhuga Village

Since it was already late dint stop at many places and reached Mukteshwar at around 12.45pm.
Visited the Very Famous Mukteshwar Temple. The pandit ji of that temple took me to his Cave/Room and took the prashad from me and gave me his prashad with mine back and blessed me. He had a chat with me and was very happy to see a guy coming from so far (atleast for him) just to visit this small place.

After enquiring about me he asked me to visit the actual temple of lord shiva ... i worshipped there for a safe ride... and came down..There is a place there at Mukteshwar which is known as Choti ki Jaali .. couldnt go there as it was some trekking part and i dint want to leave my bike behind alone. So just had a glance of it from the top of the temple.
Here are the pictures of the Mukteshwar Temple :

          Mukteshwar Temple

          Choti ki Jaali

View from Temple , 3000ft deep

Had a cup of tea and headed towards Nainital ...

But this time during my return journey i stopped a lot because there was ample of time with me so took the complete advantage of it and clicked many pictures. Check 'em out.

Very common sight in Uttrakhand now

Reached Nainital at around 4.15pm...It was freezing cold with clouds at my face i could touch them easily... i dint want to close that day so early therefore i went to Hanuman Mandir (Hanuman Garh) a very peaceful place. Worshipped there took some pictures and came back to hotel.

          Enroute Hanuman Garh

After reaching hotel ... took rest for a while and came back down to have some food as i was feeling v.hungry... tried some momo's and chowmien of a very famous shop of nainital inside Butia Market. ( Though my stomach got upset after that)

Before having food went and worshipped inside Naina Devi Temple Nainital. Some pictures of it below

Lake view from inside the temple

After having my lunch got Tandoori Roti's and Paneer Sabzi packed for myself for dinner (all thanks to Navratri's going on) ...
Crashed to bed ... at around 5.45pm.
Slept at 5.50 pm .. woke up next morning 7 am Gave my dinner to a begger the very next day morning.

Day 3 : Return Journey starts. Stay hooked !

Looks like the roar of your Tornado machine has caused a few landslides in UK. Nicely written log and equally good pictures.

ahh memmories that nayani temple and place around is still the same. nice trip and good to see you taking ample sleep and rest in between, for fresh rides.

@Ashish - how is the way to Nainital from Kathgodam? is it safe for bikers? though lot has improved with barricading and all but 2 lane road traffic is still spine-chilling for me :/
