@Ashish - how is the way to Nainital from Kathgodam? is it safe for bikers? though lot has improved with barricading and all but 2 lane road traffic is still spine-chilling for me :/
yeah i took a massive nap before my return ride
the actual road from kathgodam via juliekot is safe enough with complete barricading throughout the route albeit the route which i took this time (actual route was closed due to landslide) was via bhimtal and bhowali... which has a lot loose gravel around the twisties.... not safe for a biker with no barricading too

but if you ride sane then everything is safe !

                    DAY 3

Woke up at 6.30 am ... all the stuff was almost packed so got down @7am ... kept my bike on idling and got an awesome cup of tea from a Cafe near by...

                    Chai piyo mast jiyo

                    zoomed past Nainital @ 7.15am.
i knew i was having ample of time for returning so just rode safely and enjoyed the beauty of nature. I was riding in neutral and the speed which i was touching was 52kmph without any fuss... all hail to steep downhill ride.
took some photographs of Bhima lake at Bhimtal ... when i was nearing kathgodam then i was amazed to see some mindblowing vistas...
                    here are some clicks ...

Waiting for Power Wash and Teflon coating

                    Bhimtal

                    Knee Down arena

Reached Lalkuan at around 9.15 am.... had my breakfast there.. and continued my last day ride.. now the route was pathetic and i knew that ... covered some 100kms patch till bareilly in 3.5 hours , now imagine how the route was
sun was at its peak that day and i was feeling the heat inside my riding gears ... took some halts inbetween .. drank lot of water.
By gods grace finished the bad patch at aroud 12.30pm and was about to leave bareilly when i stopped at a store which had cold drinks and chilled mineral water ... i drank one cold drink down bought a mineral water bottle for the rest of my ride , then this guy (truck cleaner) comes and asks me about the gears i was wearing.

Truck cleaner:bhaiya ... ye aap cricket ka samaan pehne ho...?
Me: *I was already frustrated due to intense heat and bad roads*... i again said yes *inside my mind i was thinking do i really look a cricketer WTF*
Truck cleaner: Kahan ja rahe ho ?
Me: (i never tell truth to strangers) I said Dilli (delhi)
                    Truck cleaner: Match khelne ?
Me: i said haan pragati maidan
Truck cleaner: wahi to mera ghar hai peeche !
Me : Aana zarur match dekne kal subah se hoga shuru
Truck cleaner: ok... *touches my helmet which was kept on a chair by holding it from the visor*
Me : Angryyyyyyyy took it back from him cleaned the visor back and zoomed past that bugger.

After that throughout 10kms i was thinking why i was looking like a cricketer to 'em

Anyways Reached Shahjahanpur in just one hour fifteen minutes ... road was awesome....
From then the roads were good ... inbetween there were some bad patches but overall it was good.

started feeling hungry but couldnt find any good dhaba ... so continued riding ... after Magalganj (Near Sitapur) there was a good dhaba stopped there had my lunch which was an amazing Paneer butter masala , Dal fry and Tandoori Roti's.

                    The dhaba

                    I love indian food

Geared up again ... that time i dint want to ride as i ate a lot and was feeling damn Lazy ...

                    *Burp*

still continued my ride ... reached sitapur at 3.30pm and then from there it was a four lane highway ... pushed my bike to a different level ...
                    gave it some rest too

                    Lucknow - Sitapur 4 laner

Last picture of the day My love

Reached lucknow @ 5pm.... with mom dad waiting for me ... it was an amazing feeling.
Next day gave my bike @ svc for a diesel wash and teflon coating which was due...
My 1year 1month old steed which has clocked 9,000 kms till date

All in all it was a wonderful ride would be doing one similar to this very soon.
Thanks a lot for reading guys !
