Yes!! you read it right. This was a GROUP attempt BY 5 RIDERS of the Coimbatore XBHP team to successfully complete the Saddle Sore 1000.

The Start
Am not good with words and writing logs has always been a nightmare, but since everyone else is tied up with life am trying to do my best. Am trying to put the events the way they happened in simple words and as for the start just trying to put the whole conversation between us in dialogue style.
28TH SEP 14:00 HRS.. CALL FROM JOSH TO RAM
Josh: Hi Bro.. Wuss up ??
Ram: hey josh.. allz well ..u say how hv u been.. any new rides ?? any fun ??
Josh.: all goin gr8 at my end too ram.. well i have a proposal for you..
Ram: cool.. what is the proposal..??
Josh: dude.. i hv been thinking of attempting the Saddle Sore 1000 and want you to join too... lets make this a group attempt .
Ram: Wow man. this is totally crazy.. am IN for this ride.. so when and where are we going??
Josh: The 2nd of Oct is a holiday and the 3rd is a Sunday so we can do it on these dates.. what say..??
Ram: Great bro.. am confirmed.. lets speak to our other members and get back with what they think.

Immediately frantic calls are made to Subbu,Mahesh & Sakthi who all give in their confirmations for the ride without even thinking for a fraction of a second.. I always knew I could count on these true friends and great bikers. Called up Ram and confirmed the list of riders who were sure to join in.
Now the next part was to decide on the final date, Route, time, and the necessary paperwork required.. so we all got down to work with whatever information we could gather and had long con calls every night till the final plan was made and laid out. www.ironbutt.com provided all the required information and cleared all our doubts. www.mapsonus.com site used by IBA confirmed our route and the distance we were planning to cover. The witness forms & trip log forms were printed and separate folders were made for each rider.
