    Dream ride - unfulfilled

    @ Mods - every individual in this forum has a dream ride which wud hv gone un fulfilled or rather would hv done partially. This thread can discuss about it, this would bring in new routes and unseen places.

    Am sure a database can be created in future for all riders with the routes and places shared here. This forum is not restricted to any city, state, country, we are united just because of a reason, passion for bikes and rides. New routes, new places, new brotherhood, etc.

    Mods - would request u to approve this thread, if any mistakes, my apologies

              My dream Ride - Southern Triangle

              Guys

              Have a dream trip in mind, which is been quite long since I did a road trip also.

              Chennai - Vellore - Kolar - Chickmagalur - Mangalore - Kasargode - Kannur - Mahe - Kozhikode - Chavakkad - Cochin - Kollam - Trivandrum - Kanyakumari - Kulasekarapattinam - Tiruchendur - Tuticorin - Keelakarai - Devipattinam - Thondi - Kottaipattinam - Adiramapattinam - Vedaranyam - Nagapattinam - Karaikal - Tarangampadi - Cauveripattinam - Chidambaram - Pondicherry - Chennai.

              Around 2500 KMS, a complete triangle and 2/3rd of the entire route is on the coastal roads, both West & East Coast.

              Any suggestions...

                Mine would be of the kind what Praveen Kumar from Bangalore had achieved last year, 25508kms in 175 days covering not only the whole of India but neighbouring countries as well. A True "Discovery of India on 2 wheels". Me in the process of repeting that once i have my finances arranged.Such a ride is defnitely once in a life time experience.

                @Praveen: If you are following the thread(Im sure he wouldnt be, Must be riding in some part of India),Your blog is like Bible/Quran/Gita for all tourers.Hats off to you buddy.

                    @ phanikar - Am in cochin now, may be not in my bike, have come officially and its really awesome and truely its "Gods Own Country"....Only issue with Kerala is the roads...dats ok but....will be doing this trip post this monson, probably by end of dec 25th onwards for 4 days till new year.

                        I ride that was planned out to some extent but never saw the light of the day:

                        Delhi - Kathmandu - Everest Base camp - Lhasa - Delhi (The Friendship highway)

                        Someday would definately do it!

                            When doing Delhi - Kerala, make sure you reach the southern tip and go back via Chennai it would be really great
