              hey Eliksir

Thanks Eliksir... My bike is Pulsar 180 [UG3]...! I think the seat is something that Bajaj has to consider while designing their next upgrade.. I happen to drive my friends Karizma ZMR... the seat is so comfortable ans at the same time it doesn't look all that bulky...!

Nice ride. IIRC, kovai to palakkad is about 54 kms & not 100kms.

Nicely written ride log harshitcyborg. I am sure it was a soul-satisfying experience.

About a month back I did the opposite way from Ernakulam to bangalore and just loved 'flying' on the golden quadrilateral from avinashi to hosur, but trissur to Coimbatore had some really bad stretches.

                    Damn rite

Your damn right Haroon...! It was a soul satisfying trip.. As you said the roads from coimbatore to thrissur is bad..! Dunno what the govt is doing.. I think they are busy playing the blame game...! But from coimbatore the roads were magical.. Man i love the golden quadrilateral..! I would definitely wanna do a trip again....! Maybe after couple of months...!

                          Hi Haroon and Harshit,
Agree with you on the lovely road.Did the route from Eranakulam to Bangalore some time back. But the Bangalore/Mysore/Bandipur/Calicut/Ernakulam (our onward route) is slower but definitely a lot more scenic. Will be doing a longer route next month- Bangalore/Mysore/Calicut/Ponnani/Ernakulam/Alleppy/Kollam/Trivandrum/Kanyakumari and back to Bangalore .
                          Good Luck,
                          Cheers

Bu however bad the roads are in Kerala, u just cant find any other substitute for the beauty and charm of Kerala.. It's truly "Gods Own Country".....!
