          Day 5: Dhanbad to kolkatta

Today, we started from the hotel called Abhinandan Hotel at around 9am in the morning after Rtn Viresh Doshi ji and his fellow Rotarians saw us off. Important to mention, petrol in my tank got empty the previous night, so I had to walk my bike to the nearest fuel pump. So, we were flagged off from the fuel pump only. Then, we started off for the ride to Kolkatta. Then, as we rode on the NH2 for around 120kms, we took a halt for rest. We found a guy from a nearby locality, looking at us with anxiety. So, I approached him and started to talk to him. But, it was of no use, as he did not understand my language and neither could I. In the meanwhile, Deepak was doing his favourite thing, i.e. lying on the road. We were really tired at that time. Some of the pics.

So, after having our rest, we left for another stop at a Dhaba called Raaj Hotel. Yes, it gave us a feeling of us being entered into West bengal. I ordered fish fry with tea, while Deepak ordered Chana Masala with Masalaa Kulcha. While the food was being cooked, Deepak clicked some good pics. We found an old lady, yes she was really old, 105kms old. She was having her food at that time and we clicked some pics with her. Also, we gave an end polio now cap to a boy working at the dhaba. Then, came the owner of the dhaba, who was bit afraid as I clicked pic of the child working at the Dhaba. Some pics are

Then, after we got fresh, we clicked some pics with aunty, Aanton and Vishal. We left for Rotary Sadan afterwards and picked Rtr. Shubhashish(Tublu), as we had to meet DG Distt. 3291 Rtn R Khandelwal ji there. We clicked photographs with him and other Rotarians. It was nice talking to his wife. She really motivated us for our trip. Then, we saw Somnath Chatterjee ji coming out of the conference hall. Also, we went through a painting exhibition put up a Rotarian. There I found a foundation stone laid by PRIP Rtn Raja K. Saboo ji. Believe me, it gave me a feeling as if my trip was consecrated now. After the rotary sadan, Aanton took us to show the most famous areas of Kolkata. Some of these were, Park Street, Eden Gardens stadium, Princep Ghat, etc. Also, we went to have Sandesh(a Bengali sweet)

                          Day 6: Kolkata to Bhubaneshwar.

Then, we reached Kharagpur, from where we had to take NH60 to catch NH5. The road leading to NH5 was very bad. Lots of potholes, etc made our backs paining like anything. Then, the nightmare ended and we caught NH5 after 30kms. After some time, the roads of NH5 also came out to be very bad. But, that was for very less time. We kept moving towards Bhubaneshwar. While on the road, we took a halt for our lunch. Having lunch, we moved towards Bhubaneshwar. We reached Bhubaneswar at around 3 in the afternoon. We checked in into Arya Palace hotel near Railway Station. Then, we got fresh and had our lunch with Rtn. Bhabani Prasad Chowdhary ji and PDG Rtn Narendra Kumar Mishra. I had Lobster for the first time. While having lunch, Narendra sir told me about the route to Konark and Puri. After having our lunch, we both started off for Konark to see the famous Sun Temple, and then from konark, we went to some local beach. It was good. Then, we went to Puri to see Jagannath Temple. But, we could not go inside, as thousands of devotees were there to worship at the temple.

                                Day 8: Vizag to Vijayawada.

We woke up at around 7 in the morning. And, then after getting ready, we received a call from the reception that someone has come to see me. It was President Rtn Raghu ji's cousin. He had come to show us the way to Raghu Ji's place, where we had our morning breakfast. But before that, Rtn Vardha Reddy ji had come to have coffee with us and told us about the major cities of visit down south. So, he made us a road map on the tissue paper. After the coffee, we bade him farewell and then, media people took our pictures while leaving. We then, followed Rtn Raghu's cousin to his place. We had another Press meet there. Electronic media and the print media was present to interview us. After the media interviewed us, we had our breakfast with Rtn Raghu ji. The breakfast was the typical South Indian food which included, Vadai, Idli, Dosai etc. There was present his son, who was around 9-10 years old. He was very eager to know about me and where was I from. Then, after having breakfast we left the place, as we were getting late.
After that, we left for Rajahmundry, where Rtn Bhaskar Ram and his fellow rotarians were waiting for us for the lunch. We took a halt on the way as we were bit sleepy. Then, after sometime, we both took a good nap and refreshed ourselves. After that, we both moved on and enjoyed the good weather and agricultural scenery around. It was a nice time riding our bikes through those green fields. We reached Rajahmundry, where the members of Rotary club Rajahmundry Rivercity, received us and then we had a press meet there too. The reporters interviewed us. After the press conference, we took our lunch. It was very delicious. Then, the members of rotary club Rajahmundry Rivercity, felicitated us and honoured us with financial support for the remaining trip. We refused to take the money, but they forced us by saying they wanted to give us. Anyways, then after sometime, we left for the day's destination, Vijayawada.
We started off for Vijayawada. Then, riding for around 60kms, we saw a brick kiln, where many people were working. I could not resist myself and stopped there for a photo shoot. After that, we left for the destination. We again took a halt at around 80kms before Vijayawada. Where we clicked a lot of pics and Deepak engaged himself in his favourite passtime, i.e. taking a nap. Then, after a while, we proceeded
towards Vijayawada and then at around 5:15 pm, we reached our hotel, called Ilapuram hotel. There, Rtn Ashok Sethi, the president of the club, was waiting for us. He had made all the arrangements for our stay. After we got fresh, we went to the conference hall for our press conference. Many electronic and print media people had gathered there to interview us. They questioned me many things, as how do I interact with people, as I can't understand there language. I said, I can't interact with the local people, but the rotarians and rotaractors can spread my words with the local people.

After the Conference, me and Deepak, went out of the hotel to see the city and have dinner. So, we came across a shop selling hot chips and a child was the worker again. We had those chips and then went to other parts and had fresh fruits, grape juice and dry fruit shake. It was a nice time. We came back to the hotel and went to sleep.
