    In 10 days on 10 Passes of Jammu and Kashmir : Earth's Heaven

    No of days: 11
    No of Persons: Three for first 3 days (Rajesh, Umair & Suresh) and two fro rest of trip (Rajesh 7& Umair).
    Bikes: Rajesh on Glamour 125 cc, Umair P-220 and Suresh P-200.
    My Expenditure: 10500/- ( Almost same in case of Umair)
    Moment to remember:
    1. When we met Dr. Bharat Patel (from BCMT).
    2. On top of Baralacha La and K-top.
    Moment not to remember:
    • When we could not make up with Suresh and he decided to travel alone as he had to complete up to 8th evening to catch the train from Jammu.
    • When my bike refused to cross Tanglang La
    Night stay:
    Night 1: Manali in hotel Link Way @ Rs 600 per room
    Night 2: Darcha in Leh Dhaba @ Rs 50 per person
    Night 3: Pang in Tent @ Rs 100 per person
    Night 4: Leh in Hotel TSO MORI @ Rs 500 per room

    Night 6: Leh in Hotel TSO MORI @ Rs 500 per room
    Night 7: Lamayuru in Dragon Guest House @ Rs 500 per room
    Night 8: Drass in Hill view hotel @ 600 per room.
    Night 9: Shrinagar @ Rs. 600 per room in Lake view hotel
    Night 10: Patnitop @ Rs. 600 per room.
    Maximum travel in a Day: 630 kms

          Day-1

          I woke up early and started from Hisar at 5:00 am. Umair and Suresh started from Delhi at the same time. WE planed to meet at Ambala. We proceed from Ambala at 11:30 am. At Chandigarh the police enquired from Suresh and the matter was resolved by us. We took our Lunch at Ropar which was packed by my better half (wife) and started for Manali. This day we drove a little bit fast as to reach Manali. We took very few pics on the way. We discussed at Kullu and decided to reach Manali. We reached Manali around 10:00 pm. We tried at two hotel and finally booked a room at Link Way for INR 600. Finding a good hotel at Manali on cheap rates depends on your skill. By the way this time Suresh took the chance and got a good place on cheap rates. WE took dinner, discussed for further plan and went to bed around 12:00. This day was having only driving with a few pics only.

          End of Day

            @Guys: I have been to Rajesh ji's (Bhola bhai here) place twice now, in Hisar, on my way to Churu. A gem of a person he is!

              Day :2

              We started from Manali at 7:00 am with a plan in mind to reach Sarchu by the evening.We took our breakfast of Aaloo prantha with tea at road side Thela in Manali. We reached at Rohtang through a huge traffic Jam. Being on bikes it was a little bit easy for us to go through it. At Rohtang it was first snow of our trip and a lot was to come further. We were very glad to see first snow. We stayed there for half an hour and proceed further. Our next stop was Koksar for tea and snaks. The road from Rohtang to koksar was very bad because of water streams on the road. We tanked up at Ttandi after Manali. We also took 9 liters extra fuel for emergency. ( Actually this fuel was not used).When we reached Keylong it was already 4:00 pm where we took lunch. Then headed towards Sarchu ( Frankly speaking this time myself was quite sure that we will not be able to reach sarchu). At 6:00 pm we booked our bed in Leh Dhaba at Darcha. Before that we had to cross two huge water streams because of damaged bridge. After a little rest we went to river for a photo session and evening walk. Darcha is a quite pretty place to spend one evening. After that we discussed a lot with local people about the road, pass and their local life. We got very useful information. Suresh & Umair refused to take dinner as we took late lunch. I decided to have little drink.
