you can remove the personal data column and make read only access to all the members attending . Everyone should have a copy of the list themselves, containing person name ,forum id, vehicle number, make, his number, his blood group and his emergency number.Let they take a print out before starting . This is very important ,rather than have this information at a single point of contact for emergency situations .
      SPEED .....i need more

I second that, but instead putting on the details public forum, it could be sent to those who are coming. With just IDs of members, posted here.

Yep that's exactly what we did last time. The contact details, et all sheets were distributed amongst all Lead/Sweep Riders and Respective team leads and additionally amongst a few other riders. Everyone was made aware of who had the rider data sheets.

IMO, its an unnecessary waste of paper to hand out printouts to each and every person. As long as about 30-40% people have the details it should be all right.

Btw, good point there we don't have data on Blood Group and Vehicle Registration number.

Further more, at this point there is no point in circulating the data sheets as there will be further dropouts/registrations also. So this information is best left for collation at the end so that all of it is accurate!

OH k....... but how do we update the blood group and vehicle registration info?
and also "I REQUEST ALL THE RIDERS FOR THE TSGTG TO BRING THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS OF THEIR VEHICLES(REGISTRATION,INSURANCE AND POLLUTION CERTIFICATES) AND THEMSELVES (DRIVING LICENSE) FOR THE RIDE.

Reason: since the group size is more, the chances of we attracting the cops is more.So the request is just to make sure we save some time and money dealing with them.

                          • Thanks Phanikar for reminding me about the Pollution Certificate. I had not taken out even once since I bought my bike 2005. I guess will have it done to avoid any cops issues. Is it mandatory that we need to carry original vehicle papers (RC, Insurance & Pollution Cert) while in KL? In general copies of vehicle papers will do in TN.

@Newbies:- If you had not purchased riding gears, kindly do so.
We expect riders to come in riding gears for for pre-rides planned in respective states.

@SriramEfund:It is not mandatory, but why take chances. With 60 bikes strolling the highways, their eyes would be wide open.
