Hey thanx buddy. where in thane? I resides at G.B.road. Sure i am gonna do the kokan ride again but now after the monsoon may be in September. Will sure inform you, before that lets meet up someday in thane.

kaisa dikhta hai

Day 2:
Got up by 6.30am but there were so much cold outside, I was shivering like anything. So decides to take sleep for 1 more hour and that’s my biggest mistake I have done in this ride. You will get to know about the mistake in later part of the log. So finally got up by 8 am and directly went to the beach.






























Spend some time at beach and came back to room and got ready by 8.45am. I made a payment to hotel owner and thank him once again. While I asked the hotel owner about backwater and dolphin seeing boat ride but he told me that you can see the dolphins only early in the morning(read 6.30-7am) coz that time dolphins come to near sea shores for there food and only that time you can see them. I saw the time and it was already 9am. He told me by this time there are very rare chance to see the dolphins. That extra one and half hours sleep was my biggest mistake and I was very angree and disappointed coz I was not able to see the dolphins. So drop the plan of boat ride and decides to go at Devbaug beach. It’s around 8kms from tarkarli. This beach is one best beach I have seen till date. Devbagh beach is glorious. Where else can you see so calm meeting of a major river Karlee with the Sea as it is seen here...with dignity and my joy to see the meeting point. It was so clean and not a single soul at beach. Spend some time at beach and left from there to go at sindhudurg fort.



















My next destination was sindhudurg fort and snorkeling at malvan beach. Reached sidhudurg fort by 10am.Parked my bike and asked for boat ride to sindhudurg and snorkeling. The guide told me that I have wait for some time coz they need at least 4 people group to go there. By that time I changed my cloths, kept a bag and other stuff at parking place owner’s home. I took my camera along with me and start praying to get a group. I waited almost 1 and 1/2 hour and finally a group for 3 guys who also from Mumbai came to my rescue. So finally by 11.15am we start our journey to sindhudurg fort by boat. I was quite exited for boat ride. Reached at sindhudurg fort by 11.35am.

Roamed around the fort for hour and its time to do most exciting thing i.e Snorkeling.Its my turn now.








After snorkeling the three guys who were with me they decide to for diving in the sea.











Now its time to go back to malvan jetty.








Reached jetty and took hot water bath there. Made a payment of Rs. 300/- to guide for visit to sindhudurg fort and snorkeling. By that time it was 2 pm so decide to take a lunch. I enquired to the local people for good place for lunch and they said go to hotel chaitanya. It was only 2 minutes away from jetty. Food was awesome over there. It was 3pm and my next destination was vengurla and near by beaches. Roads to vengurla was awesome after every 15 minutes there where river crossing bridges and coconuts trees on both the sides of the road and lots of small small ghats section.































Riding on the way to Shiroda from Vengurla just turn to the right at Ubhadanda you will see the huge streteh of shiny silvery sand dunes. By trampling the sand under the foot, a short walk, climbing the sand dunes and lo behold you are at the sparkling beach and crystal blue waters of Sagreshwar. This beautiful beach is just 3-4 kms from Vengurla. A small temple of Sagareshwara(Lord of the Sea) is situated on the beach I reached sagareshwar beach by 5pm.

































Click some pics and I leave from there to go mochemad beach which is 6kms from sagareshwar beach.It is surrounded by 200 feet high mountains and hills. The coastline is extremely beautiful with the plantations of cyprus trees.











Finally reached shiroda by 5.45pm. It was my last destination for the day so I started searching room for night stay. But it was Saturday and I got little bit late to reach there. All the beach side hotels were booked for the day due to weekend and I got tense. I asked to local people and they said to go hotel potoba. This hotel is little away from beach but I don’t have any option. So went there and luckily got the room for Rs.300/- bugs. I dumped my bags in the room and directly went to the beach for taking pictures. Actually wanted to take bike at the beach but there is no way to take bike on the beach from hotel. So left bike at hotel took tripod and directly went to the beach. But this hotel searching process took so much time and by the time I reached to the beach sun was almost set.

Spend almost 1 1/2hours at beach and came back to room. I called mom and gave her my update and told her that I am leaving for home tomorrow from here. Later I called ketan and asked for route for return journey. He advised me to come via NH4 this time and discussed other things. Had a dinner and went to sleep. Day 2 comes to an end here.
