    Third Log:

I was feeling happy that I made one way after all the bad omens which were revolving around me trying to abort my ride . I stopped on the way back drank cocunut water and started again.Around 50kms before coming to bangalore a KA registered OMNI guy seeing some goats on the road maniacly steered to my side and pumped his brakes.I lost control and braked but all in vain.I hit his bumper around 80-90kmphr i guess ,his bumper got dented a bit and I fell down and coudlnt remember what exactly happened and how.My helmet visor broke ,luckily my elbow and knees escaped due to the guards,my right fingers were swelling and left upper part of rib cage was hurting me a lot.Lucikly my bike has no any external damages and it started again after self starting but my front brake became tight and was getting jammed .I went near the OMNi guy and he started yelling at me saying mine is other state bike and his is KA one and started to bring the localites onto me saying I was drunk and will take me to policestation .I agreed fiercefully and after some time he started bribing saying police wil take money from both of us..so give me 1000 bucks...As time was running out I had no other option barganied with him and gave 500rs and left. For the lost time and bad concentration I took this as a challenge and reached bangalore .I clicked few pics while coming back keeping those good memories which will be cherished all time long.Again I got jammed in the bangalore traffic and tried to manage the traffic and reached the road to hyderabd and took time stamp from a near by ATM,got a new visor cheked my stuff and sadly I lost the witness forms and road maps tied to my bag with rest of the things I had few snacks and was ready to hit Hyderabad .My odo showed 40,214kms and time was 5:02pm.Covering 1071kms in 14 hrs 45mins.

Bumping @ 80-90 kmph & you walked away relatively unhurt, thats truly a miracle bro..

By the way, why is your trip meter showing some 3157 odd kms? Didn't you reset it for the attempt or was it not working ?

Like they say 'failure is a stepping stone to success'. Believe in yourself and sure things will be a lot different the next time around and you will do it successfully. Sorry to hear about the crash, but take it positively that you have learnt some more valuable lessons on the road and that has added to your riding wisdom & the extra dangers you have to look out for on the highway. Anyways, I hope you went thru a thorough medical examination after the ride to ensure all is OK.

Here is wishing you good luck for the next attempt. Keep your spirits high.

Bangalore roads are crowded irrespective of weekdays or weekends. They are more crowded just before a long weekend as lot of people would be going out. On any day, traffic would be dense during 7 am to 11 pm, beyond which you will hardly find some vehicles. Its dead during the nights.

Any reason for not choosing the other side of NH7 i.e., towards Nagpur? Are the roads not good?

Lemme get this right... He causes the accident and you paid him? Thank heavens you were able to walk out of the accident. And great to see that you were still able to get on with the return journey.

                Fourth Log:

Though it was a highway there was a lot of traffic may be due to the peak hours and as it is the Airpot road,I tried to get through it evry possible way but got stuck in wrong direction lanes and finally over came it and started my smooth ride again.I was continuosuly doing 100+ kmphr again and then dawn went away and the night creeped in.My additional light on the leg guard bent due to the accident and so I stopped at a local mechanic and got it twisted to place the beam on the road and some bolts for the attaching the silencer to the engine.I asked whether I have to change the oil and after some twisting of throttle he said no need.Calculating the distance to be 490 odd kms to Hyderabad I planned not to stop any where and reach sraight ahead and party.Just after few kms from the place with me crusing 100+
speeds there there a big noise some somthing breaking apart and bike eventually came to halt.I was so sad as it was not starting and I was in middle of no where with no light giving me help.I tried to push my bike and could do only a couple due to high elevated road.I found few people standing on the other side of the road having bikes.I pleaded them for help to bring the local mechanic.I sat on the road sadlY and tear heartedly that my ride was over and waiting patiently for the mechanic to solve the issue. After an hour or so he came and gave an perpexual statement that there was no oil in bike and the total block got cracked and cannot be repaired . With no other option I tried all means to take my bike back to hyderabad safe but at that time no truck was stopping and any other means of transport. The localites who were before standing on the other side suggested me to stay over night with them and start the next day> with no other option I slept with them in the truck covered with tarpoil checking my bike presence evry couple of hours preveting the theft frm those
localites.I learnt many lessons and it was another means of fun I enjoyed which I never thought It would come nor I would be involved in.Luckily the next day early morning, one of localites got me a courier DCM and i was elated and put my bike into the van and departed from that place. On the way I saw two ninja's zoomed past our van and donno my heart felt they would be from xBhp and after knowing the info I concluded yes they were from xbhp. Got My bike was put from the truck into a mini van and I came to the same spot were I started after 41 hours. Finally reached to my mechanic garage and found out that I forgot my helmet in the place where I slept that night. The next day I went to check what was wrong and the mechanic said it was due to no oil and as the bike was roaring for more oil at those speeds eventually broke all the chambers crank shaft and many things inside to pieces. He was astonised that this was the first time he was seeing that scenario.I was cursing myself for trusting that local mechanic and illeterate me for not doing it myself. He totaly quoted 15k (all 3 chmbers, crank shaft and bore and many more stuff).Hopefully after the bank rupted mistake I ended up,I would learn from it and wouldn't commit it next time. Finally I complted around 1200+ kms in 17 hours. Though I feel I didnt get what I wanted But got a different experience alltogether.

Updated: After 3 weeks I got my bike back with bill of 12k and I feel after those whole lots of changes to my bike It can't pushed further and break her heart again.

Planning for a better upgrade in the coming season...

Thanks folks for reading my trip log

Hey bro, Dont sit thinking of what happened make your baby ready and set for the next roll once your finances are in place. Regarding your chest banged in the crash just make sure you wear a chest and back guard next time you ride so you can save yourself from lot of injuries.

I feel you should try once more with her once the engine running in is over, and make sure you start with fresh oil and drain after 1000 kms and put the new oil.

Even after all the hold-ups you managed 1200+ Kms in 17 Hours or so right?
Thats just great man, u are sure to complete the saddlesore attempt next time!

                            P.S.
DO NOT use Castrol Power 1 or any other such mineral oil from "Crapstrol" for such rides!!
Use Semi-synthetic or Fully synthetic oils from brands like Valvoline, Motul etc. Infact even the HP made oil for Bajaj The DTS-Si 10000 20W40 (i think its semi-synthetic) will last you for such a ride!!
RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT!!!

very good attempt bro....i guess you didn't plan properly before you started..
next time make sure you have a better bike(a relatively new one) and know the route and diversions well....in this way you can save time on mechanic work and traffic jams/diversions...

All the best for your next attempt
                              RIDE FAST, PLAY SAFE !!!

Sorry to find such a sad ending to it... But I am surprised you didn't notice the difference in sound due to the low oil level. Provided your bike has been repaired by a competent mechanic, I see no reason why you can't try it out after a proper run in. Wait for 3k kms and try Shell or Motul SS Oil. I think the Shell Petrol bunk in Ameerpet (Yousufguda road) is still open and you might get several varieties there.
Also, I guess you've learnt the hard way that you'd need proper planning before executing such rides.
I guess August is the time you can plan for the next attempt. Too much heat this month, lots of rains predicted for the next two.
