Its nice to make fun, at the same time, people behind the scene will know the effort and pain. That does not come from your nearby showroom .
Didn't mean to offend you in any way Joel. Apologies if i did. I know how the performance modding scene is in India (first hand !!!).

I have spent quite a bit on time in the garage and have got quite a bit of stuff in my esteem as well. Have driven my car on the chennai track extensively too

P.S. Was not rebuking your work on the bike in any way.

While you have dalda dabbas making some -ve ponies over stock and mis-represent the concept of a freeflow exhaust, the real ones are bad mouthed. No offence, we all pull eachother. But still!
That bike is partly developed and has enough soup, to soup a stock Ninja 250 which costs more than double. Just to fill in, it runs my custom 165cc block, fully modded head, highlift racing cam, a multistage exhaust system, custom airfilter etc and the ECU was slapped a few hours before the ride with maps that I crafted in 30 mins flat. We could not compensate for the battery compensation factor (since he was running HIDs etc) and that puny stock battery wont suffice. Again nobody has a clue what goes behind a fully developed racing ECU for street. Its nice to make fun, at the same time, people behind the scene will know the effort and pain. +10 Many thanks to you for including me in the development process. It was incredible! Bike is running great all thanks to you! Feels like a 'lil' 2stroker :P
Everyone has only seen the bike move and they say it's fast, loud, sounds great or crap etc. It's only when someone rides it they have change of heart because they realize what it's really like. The look on their faces tells it all. I'm sure the next level will be even more interesting

@All: I've been getting messages regarding the reliability of the bike thanks to everyone here... so let me clear the air.

The tata green 3.5Ah battery on my bike wouldn't hold the charge. It's pretty much shot after 2 years of use. Also my RHS switch gear had issues which screwed up the lighting on the bike and sometimes the starter button used to go dead. Back in Bangalore I replaced it with a new one and now bike's running as it is supposed to.

I filled up at Maryur after Munnar and reached Bangalore and rode out till next day noon. Do the FE math for yourselves now 522km-40km/10L=?? Not bad eh?

ISG2G was an awesome! It well organized. The location was fantastic. Many thanks to Praful, Swaroop, and everyone else who played a part in organizing this event! I had the opportunity to interact with xbhpians from different states and it made for a great experience altogether.

On my way back I rode through, Ooty, Bandipur and later Chikmagalur, Kudremukh. Everything pales in comparison to the beauty of the place; Munnar.

Had a great time with a bunch of really funny people there and some very good riders! Looking forward to the next one!

Thanks for the superb pics Praful, lijok

            Cheers!

              • @Praful,Nice photo! But what is that white colour on the tank
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

That's a transparent tape to protect the paint on the tank from the tank bag
