      No issues Sunny. I called the homestay to confirm if the tariff had changed (due to inflation and stuff) and fortunately its the same.

      BTW, BlueVolt (Rahul) might join in.

        Hi Guys,

        Sorry that I couldn't respond for a while. Here is how I plan to ride down.

        Friday evening - Chennai to Krishnagiri.
        Saturday morning - Start by 4 - Sync up with Bangalore - Reach Coorg for the evening.
        Mondy mid day - Start from Coorg and reach Krishnagiri
        Tuesday morning - Start by 5 or 6 - Reach Chennai by 10.

        I'm keeping Monday flexible, so I might just ride back to Chennai too.

        And I will do my best to convince other Chennai folks that this is possibly the best plan and they would be completely benefited by tagging along!

          BTW, Of the below, which route is being taken..

          Route1: Bangaluru (NH 209) -- Kankapura – Mallavali(SH86)– Bannur (SH86) — Mysuru(SH88) - Elivala - Bilikora - Hunsur - Kanpalapura - Piriyapatna - Kushalnagar(cross river Cauvery)--Madikeri

          Route 2: Bangaluru (SH 17 to Mysore Road)—Ramnagaram - Channapatan(SH17) - Maddur - Mandya - Srirangapatnam - Mysuru (SH88) - Elivala - Hunsur - Piriyapatna - Kushalnagar—Madikeri

            The homestay is only 240 kms from Blore. Its in Gonikoppal which is 35 kms before Madikeri.

            The blore gang will be leaving no later than 5am so we can meet on mysore road at around 5.30 or 6am.

            There is a McDonald's outlet on Mysore Road within a HP petrol bunk. We can meet up here.

            I reckon we'll reach the homestay by noon.

            On the return leg, we can leave as early as possible (7am latest) so we reach Blore by noon.

            We'll take the mysore road - hunsur - gonikoppal route.

            I'll confirm on the accommodation again since we only have one room for Sunday available and booked. Added you to tentative anyways.

              Same here, I missed out on meeting the regulars on this forum at the tri-state meet. Good to see Rahul & Prashant in the possible list of riders

              P.S - after having seen the pictures from the ISG2G, I hope the photographers on our Coorg ride will make the others who missed this ride jealous!

                Mav (Prashant), one of the pro photographers will mostly be joining us. His dahejwali camera captures some mindblowing shots.

                        ^^^ Mods mods where are you, these guys are going totally OT

                        The ISG2G guys took some mind blowing pics. Sreejith's pic from the back seat of a yellow R15 with 3 bikes in front and the leaves blowing in the wind is my current wallpaper. We need to do justice to a beautiful place like Coorg especially considering the lovely bikes. Prashant, it all upto you and the others now.
