    Write up Day one:

24 June I was in office discussing some work related issues, all of sudden some one called my name I looked towards the source of sound, it was my mate Anuj along with other guys standing beside window(just to check out chicks out side) I thought they had seen a hottie n that’s why called me up to have a look, I started running and sounding like a bike durrrr durrrr durrrr n rammed in them and apologized with n excuse that my bike don’t have breaks, on a serious note I looked out and asked them where the chick, Anuj was serious and came out with much serious words and said “bike pe ghumne chale kahin” I looked at him he was really serious and I as usually say “haan bool kahaan chalna hai” one of my mate said u tell whats good n I said Manesar McD, they both embarrassingly said fool not for an hour lets make it bike. With it a round of talks started and we googled every thing that came to our mind and final result was valley of flowers by Amit Kashyap my colleague. Deal was done now it was about the riders, we had words with many but every one had a no from there mouth, we were three ready to ride out, and few curious guys who want to joined us were also showed up, it took us 14 days to set it all we three were engaged with each and every friend who will show some guts for this ride in other words biker kind of people. People backing off and showing us there interest and this mess ended up in a team of six:
    1)budding_biker P150-i
    2)Amit Kashyap P200-i
    3)Hemant Sharma Opel Corsa(the Baby)
    4)Moto_Ashu Opel Corsa
    5)Bharat Bhushan Opel Corsa
    6)Karan (Cool Dude) pillion P200-i
Day for ride was Friday 2pm but was changed due to official reasons to Thursday 2pm. With destination in hand and schedule in mind we set off exactly at 2pm from Gurgoan. As per plan we have to reach Rhishikesh by night and we got time on back then will try to Srinagar. We were welcomed in Delhi by heavy traffic of Delhi, which followed us till Gaziabad, on our way to Meerut P200 raised some unhappy clutch issue we stopped and fixed it, with the tool kid I had. Amit thanks’d me n he n his bike both were happy. We took off again and this time decided to avoid Meerut traffic decided to take the Khatuli road from Muradnagar. Toad was narrow but it was fun riding me, Amit and Karan were boosted up as it was our first hill riding session and it was enough to keep us running with enjoying the beauty spread all around us on our way to Khatouli with the canal running along us cooling up the air hitting us making it more pleasing for us and our machines. Every one was happy and boosted up (bikes and the Baby obviously) the car was ahead of us as it has got more speed then us and also due to the protocol set by me and Amit, we took our first stop for freshening p a bit clicked some pics and had some bananas and water people around us were looking at us like we r not humans (almost every one was staring at us even the dogs), phew!!! We touched the buttons and the little mills r again ready to hit the road a few 100 meters away we stopped again to drain some access water from our body. We road till “Chital”. Parked the dirty looking machines, people there were also staring at us and I was like what the heck is this, Amit said never mind they had humans like us before, ignoring them we went to get some energy, a few moments later the Baby appeared and the other three members of the team joined us in the fun. After munching lots of stuff we started it again and this time the road was wider n sweeter heaven to ride on highway, we passed miles in minutes, now the Baby was hungry so we stopped to fill her tummy but the mate did it a bit over and the fuel was spilling out. Again a few guys standing beside us in a car were looking at us like mad nuts this time we did the same ignore yaar. We moved again with on roll photo session, bikes this time took the lead as we were challenged by corolla nut we ignored him, stopped to fill up the tanks and few calls back home, we started again towards our first night stay point. we were in Rhishikesh exactly on time (unbelievable). We took some cash, recharged our communications devices in the mean time joined by the car walas (moto_ashu and company). Moved up to look out for hotels as the gate for Srinagar was closed as from 8 to 5 am the area is no driving zone land slides are very frequent in this area. We went to a hotel parked our machines, freshened up Bharat and Moto Ashu want to have some non-veg they collected data from locals for the best non-veg place around we all were hungry so headed to the place “14 beegha” but it was like its 14 miles away, so we ended up in “Brunchs” we were the last one to place the order, I was a but numb, headaches due to Friday evening rain bath and late night sleep were the reason, after chit chat over dinner we decided to got back to the rooms and have a nice sleep but a few of them want to go “Laxman Jhula” moving back we queried about the road ahead as its still was not sure that we are going to valley of flowers, a few of us don’t want to take risk and they suggested other destinations, but I was damn stiff. We took the car overloaded it allowed the bikes to rest to Laxman jhula on our way we were surprised by down hill cyclist and bikers with no head lights they were like Yamraj. A few moments on The jhula we headed back, we took the wrong road and hell we were lost with no one around we were driving with no clue and each one of us was having different idea about the correctness of our path, add to it the scary environment, cats crossing our way, the white saari wali ghost and much more to make this happening, MotoAshu finally convinced Hemant to turn back we were around three km’s away from the correct turn thanks to Moto_Ashu we all were back to our rooms cracking jokes over the incident. Slept with destination Govindghat in mind.

                  Day2:

After a good nap (except Amit) every one woke up one time we were ready to roll further, gate has to open at 500hrs so we were out bye 430hrs. At the gate we saw a long line for vehicle checking, but the advantage of bikes took the toll and we move out non stop, but the car has to stop for checking so we stopped at a beautiful point on our way, with a bit of fear in my heart i was thinking that i had made it so far but this next stage is gonna be very tough, mean while Amit pulled out his cell an start point shooting. A few of them are lined up

                  Karan enjoying beauty of nature

                  Morning blaze

                  waiting for the car

Allowing the car to pass us we decided to move behind it as its gonna be safe, but soon we realized its not working so we decided to took it off and ride ahead, now we set our speed limit to 60 kmph and i took the lead.

                  me leading

the twisty road provoked a war inside me, i was scared, i was pumped up a mixed feeling was inside my heart, my fear kept me inside safety zone and in conscious state of mind while my adrenalin kept me rolling and enjoying the twists n turns i was leaning left and right over taking cars and trucks, sound from my main stand touching the road, my foot pegs kissing the road. i never head this feeling in my life till now and for such a long time, as i kept riding my confidence start to build, now i was more perfect on turns maintaining a decent speed. while moving i was reading instruction on road side and followed them and believe me they worth following. we are being accompanied bye pilgrims on there way to and back from Hemkunt Saheb, most of them on there bike with out any protection they even were not having a helmet on there head, i was amazed how people can be so careless, they were riding like mad nuts, followed bye truckers speeding down on us, ready to crush us. along with this stuff being thrown at us we were moving in our safety zone. As i was leading i decided to stop at frequent distances and resting my mind and enjoying the natures beauty.

Amit was right behind me following me hats off to this guy, he had show lots of maturity which i was not expecting from him.

                  Amit took this one:

Beauty full sen-sic wall paper kinda stuff but mobile cam ruined it:

On our way to srinagar i found few spots for photography one of them is this cave kinda stuff.

helping us out we road till srinagar to munch some stuff into our empty tanks. so we stopped bye a dhaba in srinagar, i called up dad that im in srinagar at first he was surprised and angerly said "but u were going to valley of flowers", i laughingly replied "appa its a small town in uttarakhand and its in our way", a sigh of relief from my dad he wished me luck for further journey. Now after listening to me and Amit Ashwani was desperate to ride my bike and i though lets play a bit with him i say no way i wont give u my bike, i saw his face dragging onto ground after this, i was trying to speak to him at breakfast but he was kind of angry, i was laughing at him and fellows were helping me out, finally i decided to land him the bike and told Amit to lead the way ahead as its, now i was shifted in car and Amit, Karan, Bharat and Ashwani were on bike so i decided to rest a bit for next 110 kms. with music on we were crossing cities one bye one and getting close toour destination. Now bikers were out of our sight mobile were only way to communicate with them, we were stopped bye land slide twice but not for longer time. near Chamoli we saw jam kind of situation, i asked one of the guy "What happened?" and he said "ek bus neeche gir gayi hai" we prayed for there safety and silence in the car moved ahead. The road was good and wide enough to keep up the pace, some times it felt like im with Schumacher and we are on a race track, gravity moving me inside the car with fun inside the heart. we reached Govinghat at 1400hrs ditto on time that we have planned.

                  Power Brack????(Break)

Oh my ass feels so good on this stone :P

                  Govindghat Helipad

Ground painted bye shadows of clouds

                  Resting Babes

now a little twist to the plan is introduced, our destination has shifted a bit instead of going to valley of flowers we have decided to head on to Badrinath just 25kms more. The reason behind this shift was time if we have to go flower valley then a complete day has to be sacrificed and we don't have a day. So we moved ahead on the narrow steep and curvy road to Badrinath. Again i was leading i was too fast for my fellas to catch, i was stopped by a biker i asked what happened i said they are blasting the hill ahead. I stopped there, to took advantage of time i started inspecting my bike and what the hell one of the engine nut (nut holds the engine to the frame) was broken. Holy shit i had it replaced two months back and its again broken damn. With some temporary fixed i moved up again joined bye my fellow rides. At Badrinath we had some Badam milk to refresh our soles, called back home to inform our restless parents. Amit came up with a plan or ride till MANA village the last Indian village. it was just four kms away from there so we can easily manage it, it was 1545hrs we start riding to Mana. Feelings were high, i was proud inside that i had made it, I had seen the end of NH58, i was feeling like a true biker.

Apple tree i found in midway to Badrinath:

                  Badrinath

                  Amit Kashyap

Boiling water in such a cold place amazing stuff:

                  Bhagirathi river:

So after Mana we can back to Badrinath booked two rooms and freshened up, we went to the Badrinath temple nice place, for a while we sat on the bank of river Bhagirathi it so pleasing the our minds were flushed and a fresh energy started flowing inside all of us.
Back to our rooms, it was cold. i checked my bike one more time and went to have a chat session with friends. it was 2839hrs time for dinner, we went to a restaurant to have some good meal but the menu, what we ordered from the menu was not there, we moved out and finally found a good place to eat.
On our way back we all turned back we saw a guy running behind a rolling gas cylinder and all of sudden a cow came running to that guy and stopped the cylinder rolling on the ground, now it was fight time both the guy and the cow were fighting for the cylinder and we all were clueless, just gazing at whats happening. All of sudden few more cylinder wala joined the party now the cow was running behind each one of them, to help her friend other cows joined in, it was all hell people running here and there a fight for cylinder between the cow and Humans begin. We were laughing out loud and to have fun we start dragging the cylinders, one hour of fun and we went our rooms as next day we have to ride back as per schedule.
