    Trip-Log...Masouri
    The PlanningThe Riders
Abhishek Bhatt aka abhishek2243 on New yet so reliable and has done miles :- Pulsar220-S
Sourabh Joshi aka freesoul_sj on the beautiful and hot :- Yamaha R15
Shantonil aka indian07_blood on very reliable and the Half angel and half devil:- Pulsar220-F

The Route and points we covered.
Abhishek bhiya and Sourabh crossed Delhi and the meeting point was near my home at Mohan Nagar. We crossed Meerut-Muzzafar Nagar-Roorkee-Dehradoon-Masouri-Dhanoulti-Chamba-Rishikesh-Haridwar-Delhi.
The round distance was around 700km.

    The Journey
As it is the season of Kawarias (Who carry the water of The Ganges from Haridwar on-foot), we preferred other routes towards Roorkee. The first stop we had was almost 10km before Roorkee. We stopped there and ate some heavy parathas which none of us enjoyed much. As we were discussing further possibility of plans and were trying to re-mould the plan upto Shimla, the rain god thought it is good time to wet the tarmac. As we were resting the rain was enjoying the empty roads. As soon as we saw the drops were backing out we got ready and started again. The city of Roorkee with its traffic is a hectic job to cross. After the Roorkee the roads were butter and out hot rubber was gliding on it.

As we entered the hills, we took a break so that Sj can cover up the distance. He came with a love-sting from honey-bee. After few moments we started journey again. Re-filling at Dehradoon was torture as the city is always so much crowded.

Nonetheless we inched closer toward masouri and the weather there was welcoming us with beautiful scenes and dropping temperatures.

A tree all alone admires the nature as we pass ..

As we moved forward we saw clouds escorting us. It was feeling like never before,

Masouri- Like Never Before. We enjoyed the every turns and curves with the deep feeling of love with nature and felt a connection between everything.

We reached Masouri at around noon and the I saw abhishek bhaiya surrounded with few guys.

As I got closer I came to know they were hotel guys.

We saw a hotel and then moved to Hotel Minerva with which Abhishek bhaiya had some contacts, we checked into our room which had Three beds and was very big and nice lawn in front. We freshened our-selves and ordered something to fill our depleted energy-bags. As the food came, SJ was fast asleep deep in dreams of LEH i guess :

We were planning of doing Dhanulti in the evening itself, but we enjoyed the weather of Masouri so much that we tweaked our plans a bit and stayed in the hotel room.

In the evening as Me and Abhishek bhaiya were surfing the channels on TV, SJ checked out the market there and got us a few things to enjoy the Evening.....

Attaching some pics...I hope everyone will enjoy them...the pics were taken by both abhishek bhaiya and me....

    Ride Safe

    Regards,

Set - I Pictures clicked on 28th Aug

really nice riding experience with two delhi xbhp members. Shaan had already posted the the log about our ride. this was my first tour on my R15 and was lovely.
The time you cross dehradoon what a road it was, a full 10 km stretch with trees both the sides mountains at the end and butterflies all around you..... Literally speaking i never saw such a clear sky.

Dehradoon heat made us wet, mussorrie cold made us to wear our riding jackets while sitting at the open space in front of hotel because no one of us had any idea about the climate.

We were thinking like free bikers - can we go to shimla ?? hhmmm what about chandigarh ?? hhmm ok how about taking the chamba and rishikesh route then to delhi ?? ha ha it was so good..

Coming down from dhanautli to chamba and rishikesh i found the roads were very good and the view too.

posting few pics and sorry the late submission as my laptop was not working....

I really got great shots this time.

                            Long way to go..

Mall Road - I hope you can see the fog
