Abhishek (220F) was at his native place in Alibaug and it was planned that he would join us at Khopoli. His brother Aditya (ZMA), Aniket (R15) & Myself (Fazer) decided to leave Mumbai at 6:30 AM and reach Khopoli by 8 AM and meet Abhishek there.

So the ride started at 7 AM instead of 6:30 AM which was initially decided. Morning ride is always pleasant. No signals, open roads are always a delight in city. Took the Mankhurd road from Eastern Express highway and at Shivajinagar saw a lone vehicle waiting on a signal. There we no other vehicles around. The signal was green as we arrived and we just have a peek in the car to know who was inside. A lady was driving the car and she was the lone motorist who was following that signal at this time in the morning.

During the small break we explained Aniket (R15) what we follow when we ride on highways and always try to maintain your position with us. So after a small break at Panvel we again started again. We reached Khopoli in no time as the NH4 between Panvel-Khopoli is awesome. Abhishek (220F) was waiting for us at a small hotel for breakfast.

We reached Chandni Chowk in no time and took a right turn as suggested by locals. After few mins of riding took a break on the way to Lavasa beneath some trees. Heat has started taking the toll now and stomach also was empty by this time. This was nice place to take a break. In the background saw a Go-Karting track. Just few days ago I went for Go-Karting in Powai and it was really amazing. But when I had a close look at the track in our background it was a complete disaster. Can you imagine a Go-Karting track having potholes? There were also few racers riding on that track at not more than 20-25 KMPH. I was laughing like hell at that misery.

Again at one corner when I was behind him saw that he was over speeding on the corners and was thrown out of the road. Avoided a head to head collision with a car on that corner. I was really scared and cursed myself for bringing him on such a long trip for the first time. After that we kept a decent speed so that all of us reach home safely.
On our way to Chandni Chowk I saw another fall. A lady was riding a scooty with her small child on the side of the road and hit some guys elbow. She lost the control of her scooty and had a big fall. She was in the opposite direction and I zoomed past her and the crowd there went ahead to pick her up. Again a few mins later saw a big mongoose crossing the road just in front of me and was saved as I braked. I guess it was his lucky day.

With sane riding reached Khopoli at 8 had some snacks at the same hotel where we had breakfast and said goodbye to Abhishek (220F) as he was again going to his hometown Alibaug. We started the journey back to Mumbai and finally reached home at 11 PM had a bath and drop on bed.
The next day everyone thanked Aniket and pulled his leg for the best mileage we got during our journey because of his speed.

Wonder why cops tell you not to stop in between anyway hope you guys njoyed it I personally don't find it interesting at all coz not only its dam far from Mumbai (Return trip to Home becomes boring) and also road is full of blind spots which is quite dangerous

No idea why they stopped us... and thats what is still bugging me . I anyday prefer riding on NH4. It a very nice road which will give you all kind of experiences such as riding on a properly divided and marked roads, experience of riding on Expressway (although its the worst patch of expressway....but then too its an experience), riding in ghats. All these things make up a very nice image of NH4 (atleast for me) .

They stopped you coz they r irritated with bikers doing all sort of stunts on those roads which r insane

and you got me wrong I am not big fan of Lavasa road NH4 is something I njoy the most I usually do Sunday Breakfast in Lonavala which is on Top of my list for Sunday rides
