AgyaatVaas
BikerZone Mega Ride iV
We followed the customary routines that seems repetitive and boring to many while a good luck ritual to others like me.

So after the photo shoot we started moving towards NH-22. Wait, did I mention our destination? *Quickly glances at the text*
Oh seems like I have forgotten. Well, it`s AgyaatVaas. The very mentioning of the name made people think that we would certainly do something crazy this time. And we did go crazy.
So, we head towards Sabathu and then to Kunihar. This is the place where we guys had our Breakfast. Some delicious Aloo paranthas at not-so-famous shop can be surprising and surprised we were, to the very core.

After a sumptuous breakfast, we started again

We reached Kingal at around two in the afternoon and it was time for us hunger stricken monsters to shower our wrath at some hard-working dhaba owner.
After the gluttons somehow satiated themselves, we moved forward to our next stop: Hatu Peaks.

Agyatvaas is around 1.5 KMs from Hatu and serve as a perfect place for people like us to spend a night at.

Good Night AgyaatVaas!!

Agyat Vaas: BikerZone Mega Ride iV

BikerZone Mega Ride iV
Day 2
Last night we decided the return route and many were disappointed with that. We anticipated that it will be a boring and uneventful ride on the NH-22 this time and just to add a bit of zing to it, we decided to do Kufri – Chail – Kandaghat route instead of going via Simla.
The day started early for many of the fellow riders. One had to go back to Chandigarh due to urgent official work while others had to see Sunrise and a few enthusiastic others went for some activities like mountain climbing and trekking up on the mountains. I on the other hand, am a lazy bugger who slept all through this and woke up when the sun was shining above us and the trekkers and mountaineers were back in the hood.

On the breakfast table, the owner told us about some local routes which we could take on our way back, to which we eagerly listened. Maps were opened and roads were looked for but we could not find any mentioned road on H.P Tourism official map. We saw an opportunity. The Oppurtunity to break the boring - ness and the uneventful - ness of the ride back. So we decided to take the suggested route.
With gleaming eyes and curious mind, we headed back to our beloved Steeds. The parking we got for the night was amazing and I simply loved every inch of it.

After a nice breakfast and farewell to the nice host, we were back on road by 11 A.M. but, we had to cross the road from Hatu to Narkanda, which seemed a task in itself as we faced so many roadblocks, deadlocks and what not on that narrow road.
So, we covered those six kms in an hour and were heading towards Thanedhar when Archit, now the ride lead, took a right. This is where the new route to Theog starts from. It goes through Baghi, Ratnadi, Gumma, Chailla and then to Theog.

We were jumping all the way to Baghi. Not with excitement but coz of the bumps and humps on the road. After that, the road shaped up nice and so did the view. We were like some happy kids in an amusement park, having a ride of our lives. Soon we reached Ratnadi and what followed was Kilos of dust on our bodies.

The roads after Chailla deteriorated drastically and there was dust all around. So much so that I could not see the road ahead and was riding at the merci of the vehicle in front of me.

Was that fun? Hell yeah… enjoyed every bit of that stretch.
With all that sand on myself and kind of a tail of bust behind us, we reached Theog and then to Kufri.
The road to Chail was a complete bliss after those sand-dune-filled roads and we happily cruised on them.
Hunger monsters were out of the hideout again and what followed was a yet another rampage in yet another diner, only this time it was Hotel Kailash.
At around 7 in the evening, we left Chail to reach Panchkula at 10 P.M. The first thought that comes across once you reach back is not about the trip you just had but of the riders you were with. There starts and urge to see them all back, together, safe. It is then that you actually start thinking about the ride. And the same happened this time too.
I was the first one to arrive but soon, other riders started pouring in. The eyes were eagerly scanning the road to pick the fellow riders and call them to the meet – up point.

The End!!The Fastest Indian!!
