    [Photo Feature]: Mumbai-S1E3: In search of Light....

    Friday... down with a muscle pull. I can barely move or walk. Its supposed to be my wifes birthday on Sunday (today) and I guess I will spend this week on bed rest.

    Worked from home on friday, and ended up sleeping for most of the time with the Lumbar belt on. When the pain became unbearable, I finally had to pop the pill. A few hours of deep sleep later, I was much better. But thanks to all that sleep, I was awake for most of the night... Since Varsha was at her moms place, it meant I could be online untill late night! and thankfully this happened:

    See? Every thing happens for a reason...Its a Saturday, am supposed to be Biker on Saturdays, and a husband on Sundays... I shouldnt be home sleeping. I got to ride!
    And so we pick up a direction and head out.

    We end up doing some 351KMs of gREAT riding! and some gOOD exploration of virgin roads... some of them can put Malvan to shame!

          Hey bro ... what happened ? Are you ok now ? Lumbar belt scares me since I got disk problems ...

            Lovely...how about 2/3july again ?
            A very good and safe biker not only because he can pop up either of the wheels,scrape his knees on a corner or go fast and make it look stylish but because he very well knows his limits and capabilities and has the patience to learn about others and ride safe ! :)

                Muscle spasm, and one thing led to another and it was bad... no dare-deviliery stuff man, just the itch to ride.

                No repeat policy.. sorry! but you guys could prolly team up and do it! its a very nice strech with patches of bad road and horrible road, but overall ride is nice!

                  First stop. Somewhere close to Manor. I need to tank up.

                  We spot a group of bulleteers doing the thing they like\do best. Repairing thier bikes. A wild sadist grin inside the helmet and we stop a bit ahead of them.
                  We dont intend to help them. No sir. We found a place to eat something which was a bit ahead of them.

                  And known for thier toughness (read stubborness) they wouldnt even venture close to us asking for help\directions etc.

                  Two Onion uthappas, and an energy drink each (Read "Thumps Up") later we proceed. Where to? We still dont know. And as if the universe consipired against us, the GPS on the phone didnt work ether...

                  It was almost as if we were riding with the rain clouds from hereon... but sadly the R15 was faster and we outran them, though secretly wanting them to stay!)

                  The strech after Manor is nice, especially after 'Reti bandar" as from hereon you wouldnt find the trucks stealing "reti" (sand) ... We still dont know where we are heading ... but we were enjoying the ride..

                  Alankar wants to click the roads... and so we take a short stop of 30 secodns







                  We point at random hills that we want to go to, but niether of them had connectivity.... and in the bargain we reached Bhillad!

                  We finally take the left to find the Coast of Gujarat, and find we shall in great style. It was getting warmer as we reached there, the beach throwing fine particles of salt water on to the lid and fogging it up... We wanted to ensure we see the lighthouse too! So we proceed towards umbergaon.

                  The Umbergaon Jetty Port:

                  It was very very windy there! You should see this place on Google maps.
                  It has a weird shape, you can see land (beach) and water in almost every direction!

                  And Alankars photography continues... Notice the angle of the trees behind and my hair! NO IT ISNT GELLED! Its pure wind!






                  We proceed for the beach...




                  And yet we couldnt find the lighthouse....
                  Actually the pic shows the hint of the lighthouse there, but in reality the colours just blended it and hid it...




                  What looked like a small lighthouse was actually some climb especiallyw ith the riding boots on!


                  We met a few locals there who helped us get in! (See riding gear helps!)

                  A decent long chat on how the ride has been worth it (and liittle did we know we had more to come) and the much needed rest later, we proceed...

                            Wow! The next day was varshas bday, so didnt want to make an overnight plan. We did meet a few friendly locals who also suggested that there are enough places for us to stay! We said them that we would be back as a stronger group! I was going to mention this in the log ahead and you actually stole words from my mouth!

                            Your House bole toh - cheaper and so more money to Party!
