The pictures and the log are mind blowing!

Yaar Rohit, I have few questions to you. How do you keep motivated during the entire ride? These kind of long rides on the empty National Highway on a straight patch can be real booring. What is that thought in your mind which keeps you going, which helps you achieving such a mammoth rides without any hickups or without loss of concentration.

I am sure there must be something in your mind which wakes you up in the morning during the ride and prepares you for your destination and takes you there.

    Please do share it.

    Cheers!

Hi Jeyessh,CBR performed quite well during the whole trip, except few minor issues with chain.I usually ride on average speeds of 90-100.On state highways 70-80 max with less number of breaks .I loved the sitting position as compared to my previous companion.

Go ahead and book the bike,Its worth every penny.

            Cheers

                Day 05 - Kottayam - Pala - Thodupuzha-Munnar-Udumalaipettai-Palladam-Avinashi-Mettupalayam-Coonoor

Todays plan was not fixed, which way to head.Looking at the yesterdays mayhem at the Coastal route,I was no longer interested in going further on that route. So i thought of redoing Munnar and then head towards Ooty.

My trustworthy route guide 'EICHER book' was not with me.So i was having no idea which way/direction to head and ask for which places to head towards Munnar.I smsed Ankit (Roadzilla) for the necessary pointers and route details. Thanks to him for prompt response.I started at 08 AM in the morning towards Thodupuzha via Pala.

Road was in decent condition with less traffic,so did not had any difficulty in reaching Munnar by afternoon.

Saw some very beautiful waterfalls on the way to Munnar.

                Weather was Super Awesome

I headed to the main market area where i had Tea last time. The taste of the refreshed those old memories of my last ride to Munnar.I spent some time in the place and started towards Udumalpettai - Palladam.I specially love the climb part which is stretched from 10-20 kms Munnar towards Udumalpettai.Lush Green tea garden all around, smell of the tea and beautiful curvy road,it feels like you are in Heaven

And the long queue at the Eravikulam, makes me miss it everytime i go there

                And the Munnar saga continues

                Thoovanam Waterfall

My next destination turned out to be Ooty.I took the Palladam-Avinashi-Mettupalayam-Coonoor route.Till i reached Coonoor it was already 07 PM.So i halted at Coonoor for the night.

At the foothills, few kms before Coonoor ghat section.

                Cheers

Magnificent pics Biru bhai, as always.... how was your last ride? when do we get to know about it? you need to speed up... I wonder how do you remember all these events even after so many days...(months)?
A crash on d road may kill d biker n d bike, but d relationship btwn d bike n d biker never dies.

Its only next to d relationship btwn d mother n her baby.

Thanks Man.Last ride was superb and the thread has been already posted in tourer section.
Thats the best part of Solo tours, the only memory you have is those events which happened with you.

                    Cheers

                            Day 6 - Coonoor - Ooty - Bandipur - Gundlupet - Mysore - Banglore - Pune

Yesterday while i was at the foothills, before reaching Coonoor.. i was thinking to stay for the night right there. But i had to travel a long distance next day,so i traveled till Coonoor and stayed there for the night.

Weather at Coonoor and Ooty was super awesome.Coonoor is the second largest hill station in the Nilgiri hills. Its famous for the production of Nilgiri tea.

Just when i started towards Ooty in the morning

                            And the awesome view

Idea themed houses on the extreme right

I reached quite early at Ooty, the entrance of Ooty lake were still closed.I waited for while outside the gates.Sipped tea thrice, had breakfast twice

                            Then i moved towards Gundlupet

While descending from the 36 Hairpin bend route

And the mighty Hair Pin Bend

                            And when it finally ended

Wild elephants along the Mudhumalai road is a very common sight

                            Oh Dear's

Even animals had that much sense on the road.Watch-Look-Go.I dont know what has happened to the Human race

I did some non stop runs and followed the Mysore route. From Mysore to Banglore, road was all 04 lane and was in pretty good condition. The only thing which bugged me between the Mysore - Banglore road was the frequent speed breakers .

Meanwhile my bikes chain was giving lot of troubles. So i stopped at one of a Honda SVC centre which on Banglore bypass.I waited for atleast 20-30 mins for being addressed. After that one svc centre guy came and asked me,What needs to be done.Chain cleaning/lubing and adjustment. He said it will take 01 bloody hour.Thats too much.So without wasting time i left the Svc centre.

I stopped in between and cleaned the chain and lubed it in 5-10 mins.I crossed Banglore and reached chitradurga by Sunset.

I still had a long way to go and whole night to travel.I did traveled for whole night and reached Home at 06-07 Am.
I Did not had any leave today and didn't had any plan for bunking the office. So slept for 02 hours and then left for office.

06 days of Pure Fun comes to an end.

                            Cheers
