                          One Filthy Rich ride...

Wow! what could be the best way to spend a long weekend in the hills with the set of big mean machines, costing around a Crore on road in total. With the all mighty machines like BMW 330i, Honda VFR, Honda CB1000R, Suzuki Bandit, Suzuki Intruder, GT 650R, Yamaha R15 and Honda City, with much more precious rider & drivers along. This ride was accompanied by some of the greatest and most famous riders i.e. Sunny 'motographer', Old Fox, Anurag Ashok, SunilG, Abhinai, Puneet 'Roger' and yours truly Manan.

When we started in the bright sunny morning of Sunday, we planned to reach our destination "Chopta" the day one. however, as the time passes by and kilometers reduced we realized that the route was not that easy that we could cover in the day light. as we found lot of landslide affected areas, causing the roads in pity plight.

When we reached Rudraprayag, at the police checkpost we were told and advised by the policeman not to cross Ukhimath in the night as we might encounter wild animals and must take a halt for a night somewhere in between Rudraprayag and Ukhimath.

Next morning we started for Chopta (Duggalbitta), and covered the distance in just 2.5 hours to encounter a beautiful lap of nature covered with all lush green forests all over. Half of the group decided to go for a photoshoot and some decided to stay back. I was one of them who decided to stay back, but not to rest at the resort, but to explore the beautiful nature. I have gone deep in the forests and actually wanted to get myself lost in those dense beautiful trees. As usual, I made some wild mountain dogs my friend and roamed around the jungle, only to comeback to our resting place "Mayadeep" resort in the evening. When I came back I shared my experience with others, and soon we all decided to go for a small ride to Chopta for some more photoshoot under the setting sun.

Next Day, everybody was under the discussion whether to stay back one more day or to proceed back home. By the time everybody was deciding on that, Me and SunilG decided to de-tour the Jungle once again but on the more difficult terrain this time. For a moment SunilG said it would be difficult climb up those terrains to get into the jungle, to which I wildly said "If these monstrous wild dogs can get there, we can get too", those dogs had huge paws, almost as big as my palm. . Convinced with my thought, we both decided to move into the forest with the assistance of those wild dogs, who were actually clearing our path by chasing other wild animals away and showing us the walkable path. We thoroughly enjoyed that little time we spent in the jungle till the time we heard Roger shouting and calling us back to have the breakfast. We could hear his loud voice clearly even in those distant heights and deep forest, now this was a bit difficult moment as climbing the mountain was not as tough as it was coming down on those loose wet soil ground. But, we somehow managed to get down easily as once again we just followed those wild dogs to find the path back down.

When we reached down, we have got a news that I really wanted to hear and that we all are staying back for one more day to enjoy the beautiful nature all around. But challenges were not leaving us behind, as we came in one day later to our decided date, we did not have a place to stay in the resort any more. For that moment I thanked god that a day before I decided to stay back, as during that time I made an Adventure Camp owner my friend. Who had vacant camps and was ready to give us in that short notice. Reaching there we all realized that this would have been anyways a better option to stay in camps as they were better and well managed than what we stayed a day before in the resort.

In the night we had a Bonn-Fire, and a lot of fun. Next Day we started our way back to Delhi just to realize that again it would not be possible to reach Delhi in the same day and had to take a halt at Lansedown. Puneet, SunilG and OldFox decided to leave early next morning as they had some personal commitments to fullfill and we (Me, Sunny and Anurag) decided to leave easily after breakfast. All in all it was an amazing ride and really can not express that in words. I wanted to share the Duggalbitta experience, hence mentioned only that.

Requesting other fellow riders to please express their experience, and experience of their ride on their respective machines. We actually rode a mix of machines but I rode Honda VFR maximum period of time. And must say it is not as heavy to ride as it looks. It feels like riding a machine as small as Ninja 250R. It being an automatic transmission mode bike, it give immense ease to ride in the traffic and also in the hills where you need to shift gears damn quite often. You might feel it under powered, but mind it, you put it in the Manual mode and moreover in the sports more and see the fun of power. One can just say that it is one of the most technologically advanced bike I have ever ridden in my life. Thanks to xBhp to give me this opportunity to ride such an advanced bike.
