I was about to do a trial saddlesore ride before getting the Ninja, but after getting the Ninja, the kilometers did not really matter

Thanks Vivek. Yeah, Bangalore highway is good. But after going there again and again its kinda gets repetitive, but nevertheless fast & safe route!

Congratulations ananth, That was a impressive and massive decision and an excellent writeup.

You are as talented in putting up in words as u r in riding.

Sumo scene was thrilling and the last word with mom "No Where" was impressive.

Thanks for the write up and plz do file for the certificate and post it here.

                    Hi Ananth/Iron butt,

As I learned that you did the SS I was searching for the travel log.

Very well written and the pictures are very nice... How you were able to squeeze the pictures and still complete the 1600+ km journey in under 20 hrs is really remarkable and amazing. Hats off to you !!

I also did the Bangalore-Mumbai journey in one day on my ZMR and I can understand how difficult it is to cover that much distance. Mine was still a lot less than what you have achieved.

Today also I came to know that you have moved on to Ninja from ZMR. The black Ninja looks beautiful !!

wish you many more exciting journeys with no Sumo kinda experience

                    Happy and safe journey !!

^^^ Sir, Ananth's log is right. He starts the ride 3 AM in the morning of 31/Jul/2011 & completes it by 22:35 of 31/Jul/2011. Which means, he only took 12+7.5 = 19.5 hours. Had he taken about 21 hours, then the date would be 01/Oct/2011 as you pointed which will be after 12:00 AM not PM.

IBA can reject saying he has not ridden for 24 hours; but, that's no excuse as there're several people who've completed within 24 hours time limit, OR unless there's some minimum amount of hours for the ride.

may be you have sent a corrected sheet to IBA.

all the best for the ride.
                              Sir,

I started in the wee hours of the morning and completed in late night (before the 24 hour run)

Plus, I rechecked all documents and rechecked the log book along with the fuel / atm receipts - I will be more that happy if IBA rejects or approves - I need a reply atleast!

they sent me an email saying that they have approved my ride(both bb and ss) and asking me to pay for the same($60 u.s.d),i made the payment immediately and after that i didnt get any reply from them(this happened nealry one month ago,no reply since then)

but they entered my name in the saddle sore list not in the bun-burner list

samething with my friend also except they didnt enter his name in the ss list (they approved his ride one month before mine )
