    Ya the concrete track was completed.It was a good experience to take bikes to the top. The starting of the track was a steep concrete road, then tar road and after that it was just a jeep track with no tar roads,and then started the concrete track. But it was not fully concreted ,concreted only for a jeep tyre size at the both end and the road.

    Nice Pictures there! How i wish i could get transferred to Kerala.. You guys have the cream of all the fabulous terrain. all under a day's ride

    I see you guys visited Kalvary mount as well. How was the track to the top? In June they were building up the concrete path till the top. Was it completed?

    nice trip. the phone/cam thing at dam is quite irritating. They took away my phone ( I didn't know they were prohibited. The only board that said so was rusted and almost unreadable). Had to beg for about an hour and they gave back after deleting the snaps

    I think you are mentioning the curve at which our jasmine rider lost control and fell down.. It was a terrific moment.. I scratched my foot peg at that curve and when i was about to approach the next curve i heard some sound and when i looked at RVM I saw one red pulsar slipping and going out of the track..

    Ya just 3 weeks before our G2g.. I found it very difficult to upload the pics .Actually i would have posted my trip log before our g2g, but only bcos i could not upload the pics i didn't.

    Sorry Brother... I don't remember the name of the hotel we stayed. I had the business card of the both hotels but recently when i changed my wallet I kept it some where. Anyway I Know the exact locations.

    On day one we stayed at a Hotel at kuttikaanam, a place located on kottayam-Kuimily (KK) road. This is the place where the road divides into two one to Thekady and the other to wagamon, Kattapana and Munnar.
    The hotel is on right side of the road just after the kuttikaanam junction(towards Thekkady side).

    Rent: Rs.800 for 4 person; Rooms are ok for bachelors but not recommended for Family..

    On second day we stayed at a hotel at kattappana.. This hotel is near maria Bar located at central junction, kattappana, the road just parallel to the bus stand. U can find many hotels on this road..

    Wow..Great. I would say Ramakkalmedu is a must see place, if adventurous enough one should trek to the topmost .
    How was the trekking.? Did u People Trekked to forest.?? How many kms did u covered ? and how much did they charged .??
