      They aren't coming to Chennai; the closest to Chennai will be atleast 250 Kms!!! Check their website where the route is sketched.

              Successfully completed the Kanyakumari-Kashmir tour

              Dear All,

              Thanks to all your best wishes we have successfully completed the Kanyakumari to Kashmir motorbike expedition on 15th Mar... It was once in a life time experience where we had the opportunity to witness the enormous growth in the country and live our dreams...

              Apologies for not having you guys posted about our whereabouts but we were too much involved in living every moment and so couldn't find a moment to update you guys...

                  Yes aargee...I have tremendous gratitude and appreciation for all the help I have received here...It was difficult for us to find the time to update a T'log and just our leader updated his FB profile daily...

                  As I share earlier I wil be updating a T'log brief here soon..

                        Brief Statistics for the tour:








                        Preparation:



                        Balcava
                        Kneem pads
                        Thermal wear
                        Backup van with necessary toolkits, mats, all our luggage, gas stove, medical kit, etc.

                        Day1: Kanyakumari to Karur (Tamilnadu)







                        Day2: Karur (Tamilnadu) to Hosur (Karnataka)






                        Day3: Hosur (Karnataka) to Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh)






                        Day4: Hyderabad (Andhra Pradesh) to Pandharkawada(Maharashtra)





                        There is no correct sign for bypassing Nizamabad town after railway crossing, so ended up entering Nizamabad town.

                        Day5: Pandharkawada(Maharashtra) to Narsimhapur(Madhya Pradesh)






                        Day6: Narsimhapur(Madhya Pradesh) to Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh)






                        Day7: Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) to Agra (Uttar Pradesh)






                        Day8: Agra (Uttar Pradesh) to Delhi






                        Day9: Delhi to Karnal (Haryana)






                        Day10: Karnal (Haryana) to Pathankot(Punjab)





                        Day11: Pathankot(Punjab) to Patnitop (J&K)

                            Yes aargee, the food wasnt great, but we just wanted a good place to stay and this was the first place we saw on the highway before Banglore...Also we bargained a huge discount with the manager sourcing our K2K credentials :-)

                              Happy to see there weren't major incidents except the one happened in Adilabad... Looks like machines have proved that they are far better than their ancesters...

                                Yes Rahul, the performance of bikes was awsome...leave aside the general loosening of nuts/bolts and general maintenance...at most highways we cruised at 80-100 kmph (we had a speed limit of 100 for the whole group)...I was amazed to the well built roads in the entire south india patch...there was not even a single km of road left unbuilt from Kanyakumari to Adilabad (almost 1600 km of patch)...and we also enjoyed the muddy and unbuilt rocky patched in MP/UP because of the best shock absorbing of the bikes...
