          Day I
it all started at 5.30 am with all participants arriving at predefined venue i.e Anand Vihar.
Tanveer (TSK) was supposed to join us somewhere ahead rishikesh as he opted to go directly in his white elephant Tata Safari...
were couple of minutes late for the departure as one of the member lost his way finding the assembling point but we were off for the mega Adventure..
our first stop was MuzaffarNagar Bypass Dhaba where it was decided to have or breakfast.
feared for the fog on Meerut highway but were fortunate not to find a trace of it... whole group easily reached the Ddhaba without any issues..
after relishing our breakfast it was now time to roll again towards north as we had almost 300 more KM's to cover before it gets dark..
the stretch between roorkee and rishikesh gave us some uneasiness as the trucks and the local traffic hijacked the tarmac leaving us no space..
crossing Rishikesh By-Pass gave us a fresh feeling with smell of Himalayas recharging our mind and body.
the sky was quite clear with some distant mist hiding long range views. and the villages wore a deserted look, thanks to the off-season in the Mountains. it was sheer pleasure driving with no honking anywhere except at sharp turns..
reached Uttarkashi where we the group was welcomed by Shivlinga resorts staff with hot pakoras and snacks..
and the dinner was at its best which all of the members enjoyed...
briefing was now to be done as all the members were free post dinner. Kartik was the person delegated with this authority.. he briefed about next days plans and strategy.
and now it was time to go to "Eagles Nest" and enjoy..

                Day II
the day started with phone alarm ringing in my ears, and knew its 6 am..
had a exhaustive day ahead so dint wanted to waste a single minute.. in next ten minutes all the eagles were in action as it was already briefed last night by kartik to be ready by 7 am... also breakfast was to be served between 7.15 am to 7.30am..
after the breakfast it was now time to keep the group get going with instructions.. ahead some bad patches were to be found before they hit the snow line.. instructed each members to drive very carefully and wait whole group to assemble at Sukhi Top which was 60 kms ahead.
and to our surprise we started getting snow here and there as we crossed Gangnani which is around 1700mtrs asl...anticipated the steep climb of Sukhi top was not going to be easy for the group which had 11 bikes with 2 cars..
with each milestone the white color increased.
since the group members had prior experience , encountered not much problem reaching Sukhi top (2800mtrs).. found the top under almost 4 fts of snow which the snow bulldozer tried to clean away...
the labors told us the machine shall take around half hour to make the road motorable.. and what else we needed... took out our cameras and started capturing the snow landscapes..
