    Hyderabad to Hubli

Morning 7:00 am. It was Kaleem Sir who knocked me and woke me up. Well, I must say, the discipline an ex-armyman maintains in life always enchants me and this time, there was no exception. I buzzed Aravind, my co-rider, who took a look at me as if he does not know me. Anyway, we left at around 10:30 am from Hyderabad and headed toward Hubli.

Kaleem sir showing me the way after escorting us:

Now, the toughest part of the ride begins. In no time, we were into Mehbubnagar and we took the diversion from there. We could realise that we are going to get into the tough job of driving through the heat.

As we proceeded, we could observe that we are crossing through endless speed-breakers on our way. That was really slowing us down and it was frustrating too. It was at 1 pm when my co-rider Aravind started feeling the charm of riding under such climate. Though we were taking Glucose in apt amount, the incoming dry heat of 45 plus degree celsius was killing us. Now, my quick formula worked. Navarathna Oil :1 rupee sachet came into rescue. Trust me guys, it works like anything under such heated climate.

I will let the pics speak as we move on:

Railway Crossing (reminds me of my school days where I had to cross a similar-looking-level-crossing):

    Endless waiting:

Thanks god for the clouds in between:

    At last, Hubli.

        Last leg: Hubli to Mangalore

Sorry for the too long break in between two posts. I was not keeping well and added to that, I was loaded with too much of work pressure in office, thanks to my upward movement in corporate ladder.
Here it goes. The last leg: Hubli to Mangalore.

As we woke up on the last day of our trip at Hubli, we packed up for an early morning drive back to Mangalore. I tried checking the condition of my bike for a round of check and found that the bike is not starting up. All my friends of Hubli, including my good old buddy Sanjeev Bhatia took the best of care to figure out that it was anissue with the Battery. Sunday, small town like Hubli. So what, my big heart friends of 99 Canons, Hubli are there. We fixed this issue in 4 hours with a quick charging up battery enough to kickstart my bull (atleast).
We headed for Mangalore, nothing much to mention as after we hit NH-17, it was the same Goa-Mangalore highway we have travelled for numerous amout of time. Yes, my very own NH-17 ( I still call it NH17).

With lot of learning to share lot of stories, this trip was a scratch-less one (this is what I promise to myself before onset of any journey).
There is a long trip of Konkan in progress starting on 15th Aug with Mangalore-Kolhapur-Pune-Mumbai-Goa(via coastal route)-Mangalore. Interested riders can meet/join/ride with us on the way. Please buzz me at 9742898217.
Last but not the least, a big thanks to all who had made this trip an awesome one (special thanks to two of my biking mentors :Kaleem Sir and Muhammad Suhail Muneer).
        Thump on!!
