beruoist.. a true wanderer!!
i am glad that the roads of my motherland assam served you well. Arunachal Pradesh, the biggest problem is with land slides.. every monsoon, the roads get washed up and clogged with land slides.. from the pictures i can see the damaged roads which the BRO has to regularly take care of every time.
Do continue the trip log.. the pics are superb!!
Cheers,A quote by a toilet, " use me well, keep me clean, i would never tell anybody whatever i have seen.." :P

Spent few hours at Tawang monsatery,Was lost in the beauty of the architecture and the marvelous paintings it had in the inside and outside walls.
I left from Tawang monastery and moved towards the route heading to PT TSO,I reached a TCP check post where you have to enter your details for further travelling.I went to the office and requested Jawan to enter my details and let me pass to PT TSO.But the jawan refused to let me go saying.Entry is only till 12:00 PM and Single person is not allowed to go ahead.I begged and requested him for atleast 15-20 mins..but he wasn't listening at all.I was so disappointed that i dropped the idea of going to Bum La as well.
I started my return from Tawang towards Sela,Around 10 -15 kms before Jang i noticed a huge waterfall close to the Jang route. And the curiosity to reach that fall took me here.

The waterfall was HUGE !!
I crossed Jung and as i moved towards Sela.Saw a Hairy Yak taking rest next to the road.

Also there were some workers bit ahead which were breaking stones for Road Work.So i requested them for a photo with me,In exchange i gave chocolates to each one them.Sat with them and had some talk.Meanwhile there were some young ladies who started to tease me and started to say 'If i can marry their friend and take her to Mumbai' and all. Of course they were joking, else i would not have missed that opportunity.Trust me Ladies of Arunchal are naturally very very beautiful
.No offence to the ladies of Other States
:P..Its just a personal opinion :P

Mom and Son

It started to get cloudy. It also showered a bit on my climb to Jaswantgarh.Weather ahead looked spooky, but i had no option. Had few cups of complimentary tea at Jaswantgarh and continued towards Sela.

03 Kms before Sela

Fearing from the black clouds and rain.I did not took much breaks, though i was riding carefully at low speeds according to the roads. In the morning when i crossed Sela,Weather was quite clear and now it was completely cloudy.Thats the same Sela Lake, hiding behind the clouds

With some non stop riding,I reached back to Senga at 04:30 PM and checked in into the only Guest house available for 200 bucks. Its the same guest house from where i started in the morning.I was feeling bit tired so had some rum from the same shop and slept tight.
Cheers

Day 3 - Senga - Bomdila - Dirang - Bhalukpong - Gohpur
With an early start of the day,The bumpy ride continues. And it becomes quite boring and uninteresting if you have to take the same route on your return journey.Being advised about not to take the interior routes, shortcuts and less traveled roads,I had no other option..but to follow the same road from which i came.

I reached Bomdila and tanked up,as fuel price hike news was in the air. From last two days i have been feeding my bike with the petrol costing 64.75 INR.Adulterated but cheap
Was enjoying the repetition of the beautiful scenaries.Tall mountains layered with green crest,Snow white rivers cutting their way at the base of the mountains and civilization at the edge of the mountains/top of the hills..Where people like me can't even imagine to reach.

Dirang Town from the top

Random landscapes in between.

Did not took much photo breaks on return, just the visual doze, pee breaks, rajnigandha breaks and off we go.I reached Bhalukhpong by afternoon, where i have to get the Out-entry done at the Police check gate.
I was back into Assam, often called as 'State of Tea Gardens and Bandh'. 35-40 Kms and i reached Char Phata. The left road was taking me to Itanagar and beyond. The Straight road would have taken me Guwahati and i don't remember about the road going to right.I stopped for a while at Char Phata and informed friends, family, office and girls that i am alive and kicking.Updated my progress, status and some teasers in the social networking and micro blogging sites. It was time to move ahead.
Like the other days, where i was supposed to spent the night was not decided yet.Target was to reach Itanagar, but i just lost few hours of time (3 hours AFAIR) informing peoples and updating status,so reaching Itanagar didn't looked feasible.
Road was extremely good with few potholes here and there.Very less traffic was adding more fun to the riding.Fun and the Beauty around the road increased more, when Tea gardens started to accompany me along the highway.

I reached Gohpur in the evening and checked into a hotel, which was very next to Highway.300 Rs for the night sounded as the good deal, but place was quite smelly and had lot of mosquitoes
Since the other Hotel(only 2 hotel in town) in town was full,i did not wasted any time to check in.It was quite a hot, humid and tiring day,so opted for beer without any confusion as the drink of the day.
Finished the drinks and crashed to bed.
Cheers
Biru
