Thekkady Wild life!
We woke up around 6.00 am and boating time was around 7.30am so we took our time to get ready and around 6.40am we reached the parking lot and heard a shocking news from the watchman that ticket issues will be closed around 6.30 we were freaked out and kaarthick seems disappointed but I didn't loose my hope so we thought we can give a shot .we started our engine no warming up, nothing.. we started zipping in the streets of Tekkady to reach the Periyar forest we reached within 10min got the tickets to enter the forest and inside the forest we were riding slowly due to speed breakers at the time A guy asked for the lift I was in no mood but still I gave a lift to him And turned out to be a Fantastic MoveHe was a Life guard at thekkady Boating So I asked him regarding the Tickets he agreed to help us I was like $Jackpot$. Reached the place time was around 7.20 boating was gonna start and we got the tickets Yippie we treated like VIPs
Entered the Boat got the upper deck seats Thanks Mukesh[Life Guard] you were so helpful and we were Excited..Boating was around for 2hours It was good and Nice experience able to spot few Wild Animals but sadly I miss Telephoto Lens
After the boating we are roaming around the forest and had a nice cup of tea and planning about the return Journey whether to go kodaikanal or directly go to Chennai Via Theni. Finally we decided to skip kodaikanal and go back to our home-chennai everyone Agreed and informed my parents that we reach home by today itself they also felt relieved.
The return Journey :- Back to chennai in full stretch..
So we started our return Journey time was around 12.30Pm we started from there and we decided our lunch gonna be in Tamil Nadu at Theni. we started and everyone seems to be in Good mood
Maintained good speeds reached Theni finished our lunch and our next stop gonna be at Dindigul. Roads were ok and we reached Dindigul.
Made some few calls to my parents and to my GF and took the Bypass and we reached Trichy around 6.15pm Took a long break for 45min we knew that we need to cover another 320km but still we enjoyed the breaktime at tirichy and informed my parents that I will be reaching home around midnight and also informed my mom to prepare Curd rice[Yeah I missed a lot].
Filled up our Tank and started from outskirts of tirichy around 7pm clouds surrounded us and Gf called me and told that heavy showers at chennai and we guys were laughing that we brought Monsoon Along with us from Kerela to Tamil Nadu.
we put on our rain gear and we are ready for one final shot our plan was to stop every hundred kilometers.Rain also started to pour heavily but we didnt mind as we are ready for that We were Riding Riding Riding and rain seems to be in no mood to stop and for 300km it was raining continuously[One of the challenging task we guys faced Till now] I was like Wtf but we guys stopped at chengalpat toll gate and we were Laughing like anything we searched for monsoon at kerela but we Encountered heavy rains at tamil nadu.
Reached our place around 11.30pm went to our spot we use to call Death Vally had few high fives and kissed my ride and we were so happy everyone one is safe and our Ride performed beautifully Without any issues. we had one hell of a ride 1800km of Butt Breaking Fun.Took few customary Pictures and reached my home around 12am Had nice Hot bath and ate my fav Curd rice and hit the Bed along side with my 7D was felt so satisfactory and was started to dream about my Next Ride it's gonna be City Which Doesn't sleeps GOA..!!
GOD'S OWN COUNTRY ? YES I agree IT is..!! But still More places to Explore and I eagerly waiting for it..
Thanks To my Buddies Kaarthick and Shriram for accompanied me for the ride and Big thanks to my Friend Manoj and Ananth giving me the instruction and tips for the Ride. Thanks everyone for reading My Trip Log
Cheers
