THE 800KMS ROAD TRIP


Do you know the reason for this numerical naming ??
Ate the end of the travelogue you can understand ..


Traveler heart can not stop traveling, so why should I waste 1st may a holiday ??


Though exam was knocking my door,so I was not that much interested in making a trip.
But my friend Ayan told me for a short trip
Ok short means in 300kms round trip,but where ????


Yelagiri is very wellknown and only 100kms from my place : NOO thats too popular
So i gaveup and asked for planning any other place in that range..


After some time he fixed the plan with Kalryan hill.. OK Lets go......



The starting reading of the trip, started around 4pm from my place,


Fuel checked , air checked,chain checked then lets go.......

With ayan's nevigation I was riding and riding to unknown place,this place is not a hill station or well known to tourist dept of Tamil Nadu,he just found it from some ones blog,who went there for trekking...

Enough time for cool down my 125cc beast, and started again..


But don't know why I was feeling something wrong with my bike.
1. very loose clutch setting(irritating me)
2. engine feels very hot
3.pooling power is less


But I carry on thinking the engine oil is not good

Acctually this place was very near to kalrayan range,as I was riding slight fast ,he suddenly spoted this dam and later I spoted a dirt track towards this dam


What to do? just follow the dirt track as a offroader..

As we was enjoying the silence of nature on the dam, on cold weather ,and ayan was bit tired also ,he was sitting there without speaking even a word..


Then we took breakfast with bread,peanut butter which was in my bag, I found out a small track going towards jungle started riding on it and reached the other side of the dam.

After clicking this pic we started to move..


On the way we found a signboard that ***** temple in 3kms left,
As soon as started toward the temple
The road turned into a very worst condition dirt track even some place there was no track .
Some places I had to ride alone by burning some rubber and Ayan had to walk






after 2kms the local people told not to go further ,so I had to go back as I didn't want to meddle in their affairs ..


We started to move towards our destination ...





After riding some kms my bike fell in a ditch and front mudguard....



Though I started moving but dont know after riding 15kms more in jungle hill roads we took a small butt break for having tea mainly ,which we had in our bag..

Suddenly ayan felt something and request me to go back, without any reason I was not ready to move back but he was strongly saying to not to move further , so we started going back journey..


1st twist of that ride..

Nice to see Platina with pillon rider on touring. never thought it could do that for long trips

Even I didn't have any idea that it can do long long rides,, yes I have done 3 roadtrips which is nearly 2000kms with pillion and luggage without any problem..
There are some more long travelogues are pending ,I will post that after completing this..

Oh so finally read the story about the front fenders. Bro, you discovered a new word "Motography" (Photography+Biking). Ya second part awaited. Thanks for the post.

800kms on a Platina and that too with a pillion. Only someone who loves to ride can do this. Amazing.
