As we started moving back ,I was not happy with this twist .But somehow I was thinking "ok I will get some time to study " as my was only 4 day further..

While I came down to the main road we took a butt rest & engine rest.

    2nd twist:
Ayan : lets go to yercaud .
    Me: now
Ayan : why not? whats the distance ??
me : near 110 kms ,all are SH which is not in good condition ...
    Even its already 12..
Ayan : its ok , lets go..
    Me: ok lets go..

So we started our journey toward Yercaud , though I have visited it once ..

    unplanned-ride-yercaud-ride-sake-ridingl

As a rider I always liked to ride more .
we were riding riding monotonously on SH, after that we reached the entry of the hill via kuppanur.

INFO : there are 3 different route for yercaud
    1:via kuppanur
2: via salem(most people use this, full of traffic)
3:near dharmapuri you Can take a left turn via laligram..

after that we was riding on the hill, the weather was awesome ,it was drizzling .
Mind blowing , we reached Yercaud at 2.30pm.
And what we saw , we wished that if we can stay there for that day..
Cold weather , cloudy , drizzling .What more you need when if you are from a very hot & humid place..
    Went direct to view point.

    Photo.. photo .. photo..

    towards Yercaud..

    jungle roads

    Tired Ayan

    It was drizzling

Broken mudguard made the ride tough as all the mud , water was coming towards my face, helmet :P
    Small jugad for those wiress...

    Talking nap in between

    The view I got..

View point was full of crowd
    ..

the temple near the Pagoda point..

    Fruits ...

After enjoying the beauty we took some food and tried to go Via salem though the road will be much longer but I want to explore that..

After 130kms of riding I was feeling the engine is much hot than normal, Shit happenes ..
The Shell engine is burned in only 450kms of riding , leave the engine oil problem in travelogue ....

As it was sunday, we could only found Mak engine oil from petrol pump and then I toppedup and changed spark-plug and continued the journey ,came back to home at 9.30pm ..
Btw we encountered heavy rain in highway, and it was very tough for me as no mudguard :P :P...

My roads of journey still continues ......................

Nice Pics. What happened with the shell engine (u mean Engine oil). It seems the leg guard also got affected by the impact which took of your front fender. Do tell us about the engine problem. Keep posting as and when time permits. Takecare

No accident or felldown was there,
Front fender was already cracked (in an offroading this thing happened, a wooden log stuck in wheel and fender got a huge crack) and it was binded with some wire :P Engineer's jugad :P

Platina went to ASC for servicing the day before ride, I used shell Engine oil, because I got some good reply on that.
But bad luck the clutch setting was not proper so that was irretating me all the way, and engine was very hot which was not expected.
After coming down to salem I checked the engine oil level, it was very low, dont know what happened
        ..
As it was sunday no shop was open, I got MAK engine oil from petrol pump, put half lit in it and came back to vellore..
I thought it was a engine problem even after 10,000kms riding I am not getting that problem..
So that was engine oil problem...
        Thats the story ..

Nice travelogue and pics. Can you share the location of the dam where you went first?

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

Bro that time I was not having GPS, so properly I can't say the place .
                But from google map
Kalrayan Hills to 11.969513, 78.541818 - Google Maps

I think this was the place, recently I have explored the total kalrayan hills but could not find that dam
I will upload that travelogue soon, you can get a lots of information from there ..
