  • [Photo Feature]: Destination : Beautiful Landscapes + Cornering Masti

Its Sunday and i was feeling very bored sitting at home and so opened Google maps and started checking for places and forest areas which are near to my place and found a ghat section in Kondapalli Reserve Forest which is filled with full of blind corners + hair pin bends , so initially my plan was to do cornering masti for the day. [ Check out the play ground ].

Initially decided to take my CBR 250R C-ABS then gave a thought and decided to take my Yamaha Gladiator RS as my Gladiator RS gives me more fun on corners rather than my CBR. Before entering into the forest region i came across some beautiful and mouth watering landscapes which i loved them.

Here comes the bikers fun and the hairpin bends were so dam good i ended up using the complete tire profile while cornering at 50-60Kmph, added to my luck there was no oncoming traffic that time , even then my thumb was busy honking when ever i was approaching corners :P

Re: Destination : Beautiful Landscapes + Cornering Masti

*This travel log will have more pics than written content as its a short ride *

The place which i went on ride for doing cornering masti is located near Ibrahimpatnam, Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh and its Kondapalli forest reserve area and there is also a fort( Kondapalli Killa Fort ) in this location and i have planned to visit this fort too.

So before i enter into the forest area i have come across some beautiful landscapes and so decided to do some off-road ride to reach there and on reaching the place i was totally speechless to see the beauty of the nature .

Below pics speak more than my words

Don't know Why the gate was locked but it became a good subject to capture

The climate was too splendid with cool breeze blowing over me and i have enjoyed some precious moments in that location. So after spending some time in this place decided to get back on the tarmac and ride ahead to my destination.

Here's another click before i headed back onto tarmac :

After riding for another half a kilometer came across another marvelous, stunning, extra ordinary location with white powdered sand .I have noticed some lorries far ahead which were dumping this white powdered sand here and i dont know from where they are bringing it and dumping it here but this sand added beauty to the location.

Time for pictures to speak out :

The location was looking like this from the road side

The above pic is one of my favorite one

The above pics were the reason Y i decided to keep the title of this thread as LANDSCAPES + CORNERING MASTI

So after clicking some pics started riding ahead into the forest and the roads were pretty narrow and as this road has dead end ahead, the traffic was very less as i expected .

The roads were good with no potholes and i had amazing fun riding my Gladiator through those blind hairpin bends and all the while i was in 3rd and 4th gears never felt the use of 5th gear in this place and when ever i was approaching a corner shifted down to 3rd and was pinning the throttle to come out of the corner and i really really loved doing it and as i had very good experience on this bike dint find any trouble in tackling corners and everything was at ease.

Here are the pics of some of the blind corners:

So, finally reached the fort. But there is road still ahead and so decided to ride till the dead end and the ride back to fort. Below are few pic of the Kondapalli Khilla Fort

This fort was a small one and its not that much attractive too but one can spend peaceful time there as the crowd will be very less. After spending sometime there decided to ride back and started enjoying cornering. After taking some corners stopped my bike at a location for taking some snaps and found that i have utilized the tire profile to its max

              Pics Below :
This was the reason y i preferred taking my Gladiator RS than my CBR 250R . Even then ll take my CBR there next time and try to see how well it can handle in such tight corners.

As while coming down the hill i had to stop at few locations to take some snaps decided to ride up the hill again concentrating only on cornering and so had awesome fun riding up and down the hill 2 times.

On realizing that i haven't taken a snap of mine in this whole ride took a snap finally To conclude THE END
