I had a plan to visit mangalore, and Saksar Da had inspired me to do this trip, after a couple of time planning and failing I started this trip .


Day 1:
I had a exam morning 8am to 930am , but compleated the exam in 1 hour and came back to room, before this trip I have never done more than 700+kms with this much of luggage and pillion rider.
Unluckily the pillion was not a rider and it was a tough job for him on a 700+ kms riding on punny platina, also a tough job for my platina.


Got the bike from servicing the day before.
So happily we packed our heavy luggage on punny bike and started our trip...

and then we started our journey to Mangalore , but as the pillion had zero long riding experience, so I had to stop very frequently ..


We reached krishnagiri nearly 1.30pm ,little late from my calculation ..
Taken lunch in Aswirya hotel ..


Then started towards bangalore .
In the mean time near shoolagiri he lost his gloves , and it was a test of my patience , lost nearly 30-40 mins in front of shoolagiri Mc.D..


Then I started toward mangalore and really I was thinking "why Have I taken his as a pillion? "


BTW rain started , but not heavy , I was not stopping anywhere, as my luggage was loaded waterproof and already I have weared rain coat ..


I stopped where I could see hassan is only 90kms left..
That time my bike engine was hot, even I need to take a butt break and juice break..






Thats how it was loaded..

after 15-20 mins of rest we started towards hassan from there taken right turn because we need to take charmadi ghat road as recomended by my brother..
we reached charmadi ghat at night 11pm.
That was full of mist and fog,that also at night,I could heardly found 2-5 vehicles on that road and all of them were in opposite direction..
Taken light dinner in an small restaurant with idly and sambar..


That time it started raining there, ok I started riding slowly in the ghat road in foggy condition .
The sound of jungle and waterfalls made the environment made it more adventurous ..
Nearly at night 1.30 we reached mangalore city, where my brother was waiting on his mighty TBTS..
Entered into his house and took a bath and ended the day..

Day 2 starts with hot tea and awesome breakfast in local style , then we planed to visit Kudremukh and charmadi ghat.
I never imagined that I will having a mighty TBTS as my pilot vehicle .

At this point suddenly a plan stuck in my mind to do reach water stream on my bike means OFFROADING :P
And there a giant stuck..
As I was busy to get out of thick mud so I dont have any pics off that , but SRC (my brother) have taken a zoomed shot from the bridge ,will try go get that and upload it sooner

after spending 1 hour of time we started again but we had lack of time now, so we were riding slightly faster..

After that it started raining very heavily , we got dreneched without rain coat or any jacket, and rode charmadi ghat at night and came back to brother's place at night 10.30, we were shivering due to wet and cold at that time..


It was a hell of 350kms ride , we enjoyed a lot...

At the end of Day 2 we experienced an awesome birthday party of brother's flat mate just after coming back from a hell of a ride, next day we was not in a condition of early rising ..


Day 3:
It started with a late rising at 8-9 am morning and then we planned to not to have much long ride that day. We have taken an awesome breakfast and then visited the backwater and some of my bro's favourite places inside the city , and then spent the day with tinkering our bikes and sharing our DIY knowledge ..

Day 4: part1:


Danger one more time, post will be containing lots lots of pics..


After one day of rest we were full prepared for goback journey, though the rest was mostly needed for my friend .
I planned to leave early on that sunday morning but could not execute that plan .


After packing we all went to take breakfast, but I was slightly unhappy with the trip as we were very near to beach but could visit that, Saksar da understood that and planned to visit the beach first and the we will start for vellore and it was already 9am.


we all rushed to the beach, tried mt hand on mighty TBTS and reached the awesome beach.


after visiting beach ,tanked up , good by to bro and home run.

That was a very different type of moment that I can't express in word.
That man SRC whom I met first time in my life time, a very wellknown biker, but in two day we became so close ,
we knew each other only through the forums and FB but we become true brothers.
Promised to come back with heavy heart and start again my return journey ..


Truly he proved BIKERS BROTHERHOOD
Will not say thanks to you Saksar Da as I am your brother.
Just come down to my place some day, I know you are watching this post..

Very nice travelogue.. That too on a Platina! Its more of courage.

A suggestion - I think you are using a samsung phone to take these pics or something else. The problem is that you have altered the exposure settings. I once did the same and every pic I took, looked similar to the ones you have taken.

I am no photography expert. But it would be nice if you just check the default exposure settings(+EV, - EV) on the device you have.

Oh just CTRL + F'ed, You have already told its from a 2MP mobile cam. We cant expect much from it and the pics are too good for that spec. You may still check the EV settings.

Yea I am using samsung Champ 3.5g as my camera and phone as well
these photos are modified in picasa , thats why its looks like different than a normal EV 0 set camera ..

With a heavy hear I left mangalore, after refusing the SRC's request to stay there one more time as I had one more exam the next day..
It was already 10.45am tanked up to brim.
Left Mangalore...


As soon as we started towards Charmadi ghat the natural beauty was forcing us to stop very frequently and to click pics,and my friend Saket was making me more late .
As per our plan to cover 750kms in 9 hours ,but that time I was feeling ,no its not possible.

after completing Charmadi ghat we were reaching more towars plain land, and suddenly we could feel the change of landscapes..





A short brake, as I didn't wanted to carry on with hot engine .We had to cover very long distance

the feelings off hill station was still on the nature, though I coutinued in 50-70kmph speed constantly

Very soon we reached Bellur and we were on famous Bellur-Hassan SH which was in super high quality (can compare with tracks) and grueeeeee.. I was constantly riding 90+kmph all the time ,and I was very happy in my bikes performance as it was loaded fully with pillion even after that it cruised quit effortlessly in 90+ kmph




















But soon we need to spot as the clutch setting was not proper for my riding, so taken out the tools and tuned it.

Soon we reached Hassan and started riding on NH, after 10/13 kms we stopped for our lunch



lunch was quite nice.




After that journey became slightly boring highway rides, but I was riding fast to cover more distance as the tension of exam was kiling me that time.I was cruising always 85+kmph and some time the rain followed us as we were already wearing rain coat and luggage was cover so we didn't stop much but as for my bikes engine I was maintaining haults in every 100kms for atleast 5-10 mins.
As it was raining the engine heat was less ..


But saket was not liking my high speed continues riding so wanted a stop .
I continued to bangalore outskirt and took a 30 mins long break ..

after reaching bangalore we switched on gps on Saket's tab and followed towards krishnagiri and reached shoolagiri Mc.d,took some burgers and leave my bike for engine cool down as I was about to ride faster ,because the road from krishnagiri to my place is like my daily run ..





At night 9.50 we reached my place vellore which was only 50mins more than my calculation as we took breaks and mainly Mc.d break.
But after all the journey was awesome and one of my best trips on my platina 125.


Thank you Platina 125 ,you have done the trip what even bigger bikes even think twice to do, :P


After 1800kms of flawless performance ..





After reaching hostel I took a hot bath and 2hours of small sleep and followed by 6 hours of study.
But thankfully my exam was good that day..




My roads of journeys still continues ......
