Tempting Travelogue! I had an excellent opportunity to ride down to Mangalore 2 weeks ago, but missed it as my wife wasn't comfortable with the idea of a 6+ hours ride and I to regretfully settle for a Volvo ride on the Shiradis
You can imagine my expression when we halted at a bunk for a fuel-cum-snack break and a Hayabusa-biker pulls in majestically and parks bang opposite the table where we were having vadas!!

Now just waiting for an opportunity...can barely wait!

Biking is not about how many Km/h you put on your Speedo. It's about how many miles you put on your Odo. Ride Safe, Ride Long!

thanks and i can understand how sad it is to miss a bike trip but there is always a next time.
i have been in that situation many a times when i travelled in bus but i have decided never to travel in bus to my hometown after the bike trip.
if you are riding alone to udupi and looking for a company, here i am always ready :-)

Nice trip mate, and nice pics. Seems you had a lot of fun. Those are the places (maravanthe, udupi) i used to hang around a lot (as i was born in a place nearby) .. These pics are telling me, I would have to give it a visit again.
