the trip details:

3 riders :me,my friend and cousin
bikes: zmr,pulsar 150,yamaha fazer

day 1


we were excited about this trip and also we were finally doing it for real
we left our place at 5 in the morning, it was so pleasant.
we took the tumkur ring road and took diversion to the mangalore road i.e the four lane road which was so silent that i felt that no living soul exists there,
the feeling was so good that when i went past the two riders with me , the only thing which existed was me , my bike and the road, it was pitch dark, there was nothing visible other than the area covered by the head light of my bike but felt really sad to see some of the dogs run over by vehicles and were dead, being a dog lover in particular, i felt really sad and slowed down the bike,
anyways after riding for sometime slowly, this thought disappeared and we continued our journey non stop until dawn.


by that time, we had reached the end of the four lane road, we were perfect with the time because the bad roads had started which would have been difficult for us to ride with the headlight.
after sometime of riding, we spotted a kamath hotel and had breakfast there and we discussed about our experience till then, my friend experienced this for the first time since it was his first bike trip and he was amazed by the feeling.
we started again and rode continuously until we reached shiradi ghat which was amazing to ride, i was very happy as i was finally riding in that ghat in which i had travelled several times in bus dreaming to come in bike.
we couldnt stop for photos as my cousin had to reach puttur by 11:30 and we were running out of time, so we hurried to that place.
i dont have words to express the feeling of riding in shiradi ghat,the roads are wide but have to improve the road condition and in some curves i leaned my zmr as though i completely touched my knee. overall, it was an amazing feeling to ride in shiradi ghat.
we reached puttur by 11 40, my cousin and we both went to his fiancees house and he had planned to take her to a temple and that was the reason we could not take much photos, felt like killing him when i was passing by some of the mind blowing scenic places in which we could have stopped for some snaps but cant really blame as he was meeting his fiancee and none of this mattered to him.
me and my friend continued to koteshwara which was 150 kms away.
had lunch in mangalore in one of the hotels
the route from mangalore to koteshwara is really very dangerous with private bus drivers and taxi drivers, look out for them riders.
the traffic and temperature was pathetic and finally we neared our destination and v both split up and i reached my grandpas home at 6 in the evening and everybody there were thrilled to see me come in bike
had chit chat with my grand ma and slept at 9 and had a nice sleep.

the day 2:

the next day
i got up at 6 in the morning, got ready and met my friend.
we left to udupi and waited for my cousin to join us in udupi. we visited the malpe beach,St. maries island, it is a natural island and we got a chance to ride the water scooter and also experienced the parasailing.
later in the evening , we went to the famous diana restaurant in udupi , this is a must go restaurant as this is the birth place of gudbud ice cream if you know which is very famous.
and also visited some of the places in my hometown which many does not know about but wonderful places.

parasailing was an amazing experience and less price compared to goa but the height and distance they took us was also lesss

we then had a good night sleep and prepared ourselves for the return trip to bangalore

Day 3:

we left at 6 next morning , visited the famous temple where a lot of people from different states visits this temple called Anegudde,
took the blessings of lord Ganesha


had breakfast in a near by hotel and left to bangalore at 8 from my hometown via shimoga agumbe ghat.

the roads are not at all good in agumbe ghat.
we reached the top of the mountain, the roads are narrow unlike the shiradi ghat.


we reached the view point of agumbe ghat, that was the best moment for me.
the three of us bought bhel and i asked for spoon so my cousin told me not to use spoon and go green so i told him i will surely go green in near future buying the ninja, as i completed.
we noticed 2 ninja n250r passing by and i felt at that moment that my dream will come true for sure that i will surely buy a ninja very soon













we continued and came across 2 duke ,1 cbr250r and after few more kms 3 karizma r , i am sure these riders were definitely from xbhp.
the roads were good but very boring , i felt the hassan road was very interesting especially the shiradi ghat.
and we reached tumkur by 5 30 rested there for a while and left to bangalore and reached by 6 15 actually did not want to come back and continue this awesome trip for few more days


hope me and my friend do this trip every year in our dream bikes.
