Ride Safe

It’s always great to be home! Meet with family, relax and enjoy good home food. After the pretty long ride it felt good to give our not so young bodies a break. Meanwhile we had planned to meet Ram (dual disc 200) at Coimbatore on our way back. Got his number from Phanikar and messaged him and planned to meet.

The Return Ride Home

Perumbavoor/Angamally/Chalakudy/Thrissur/Palakad/ Coimbatore/Avinashi/Salem/Dhamapuri/Krishnagiri/Hosur/Bangalore






We leave home early morning on Sunday. It was cool and being a holiday traffic was relatively thin. We are soon at Palakad and stop for breakfast. After a while we leave and shortly reach Coimbatore.








I call up Ram and he meets us and we ride to his place to meet his lovely family. After a short chat we leave and Ram and his wife and cute little daughter escort us up to the highway. Thanks a lot Ram! It was a real pleasure to meet you and family!









We soon pass Salem and continue on to the route we started our journey. By evening we reach our home at Bangalore.

It’s been a truly amazing ride. Taking in the awesome sights and sounds of our beautiful country. The landscapes were awesome and our meet with our biker brothers and family truly memorable.




We look back at the year 2012 and relive all the wonderful rides we had during the year. It’s been great! Our total log for the year adds up to 7,100 km.

Today, even though I know that its a little late I finally decided to post on this thread. (Sir, I hope you got my point here ).
Loved your RR ! Truly inspiring as usual . I wish and pray for you both to enjoy many many many happy miles together.
I agree to what someone said here earlier about people cribbing about their steeds being unable to cruise at high speeds and all that.
To be honest even I am one of them to some extent. However, you both have clearly defied all these notions.

Thanks a lot Nagesh, for the very kind words and truly warm wishes, means a lot to us really ! Regarding our "little" Zeus, well, frankly she even surprised us. Just 125cc but with a true biker's heart. Through all our 7,000 plus km ride last year she stood by us like a champion. So many highways, so many hairpins and ghats and forests, I guess it finally comes down to the heart, and she has a BIG one !!
