Yea thanks for the link. They are actually really affordable though i'm not sure of how effective they'll be. I'm gonna order a pair of them anyway, something's better than nothing.
If you could share your experience with them if u ever had a slide that'd be great. Not that i'm hoping you had an accident or anything.

Even my Rear brake lever and crash guard came off with a minor fall at 20kmph. and plus since they are made of aluminium they cant be welded back easily.
Imagine what if i had fallen to my left, The gear lever would have come off and then one cannot even change gears to take the bike to SVC. I am thinking of buying a spare gear lever and brake lever for long trips..

Even the Handle Bar bends easily, And the svc will ask to replace the handle bar. I know its difficult to repair any bend in handle bar but small bends should be rectified easily. Even i am looking for Frame Sliders now.

You're absolutely right, but the thing is the frame sliders are so expensive. Im trying to atleast get the front and rear crash bobbins first. Will fit the frame sliders when I can afford it.

Leg guards and Rear Brake foot leavers are cheap and weak in quality . cant even survive from 20kmph crash i'm telling from my own experience with my orange beast its better to install Frame sliders ...

I chose this route because it had a little mix of everything; there were the wide expressways and the narrow side roads, the long straights and the twisties, the places with hot weather and the chilly areas, the cities and the jungles, the beaches and the mountains. And i wanted to experience it all.

Thanks and yea those goats are the worst. They're EVERYWHERE!!.
Its like the they have goats instead of the dogs problem we have in Karnataka.

Awesome ride and a beautifully penned log ! We had done a part of that route recently and yes the goats on the ECR can be really tricky sometimes. Glad that are safe !

I am happy that my thoughts have been shared by, or rather I share the thoughts of, so many. It's been quite sometime, I really don't remember when was the last time I read a trip log from start to finish. Normally I get lost in the piles of pictures and lose track of the narration. However, I must say that your narration is commendable and makes up for lack of pictures, and I feel the reason why so many people have read this log, including myself, is because we all experience the same emotions during a ride, especially a solo one, and no one puts them in words, and you did it. "Why the hell did I embark on this trip, instead of just staying at home enjoying a movie or sleeping " I am sure every rider or for that matter every adventurer would have had these thoughts one or the other time.
Amazing ride. I sincerely wish you all the best with your studies. may you get the best job which would help you to afford better bikes and may you enjoy many more such rides without having to worry about a fight between food and fuel
