      Hi Sunil,

      Congratulations on your dare devilry

Hope you have got all the documents to get your hard ride certified.

I sincerely wish you good luck for certification.

I also feel that you made a wrong choice as far as choosing the route is concerned. If you had gone through saddle sore and bun burner completed by others, Hyderabad to nagpur route is something not many have chosen. You should have gone for example: Bangalore-Mumbai-Ahmedabad-Udaipur-Jaipur-Gurgaon-New Delhi, as this route is considered safe and roads are well maintained as part of golden quadrilateral or Bangalore-Hyderabad-Bangalore-Kanyakumari-Bangalore.

Also, Please inform your family before undertaking any such ventures.

One more point, before I conclude, Bunburner Gold completed in India is not considered by IBA and they do not approve Bun Burner Gold rides from India. (Reason: "
For a Bun Burner 2500k GOLD (2,500 km in 24 hours or less), one needs to average a little over 104 kph. So if there are no roads in India where the legal speed limit for motorcycles is at least 105 kph, we would not certify the ride.")

So is your all proofs accepted by IBA ?? My Best Wishes for your certification approval.

Don't know what to say whether it was a daring ?? or Foolishness ?? or just lucky ?? to be well back home in one alive piece ??
SS or BB is a test of endurance, strength, dedication, riding skill, mind control etc.... But is it so imp to do a SS or BB to judge one self for this ??
Don't take me wrong. But I am worried about your family, who trusted you and gave you a bike. But you decided for the BB attempt 2.5k kms rides without telling them.
So what next ?? After achieving a title of SS or BB ??
Western people attempt it on mostly all 600+cc bikes. But in India we don't have choice and we attempt it on 150cc or 250cc etc...
Roads compare to other developed countries is much worse in India.
Here no one follows any lane rules or driving/riding Etiquette. There are many chances of accidents not because you are wrong but others are wrong/careless.
What if that accident had resulted in some other mode ?? Then you would have regretted your life.
Parents blessing is the best a person can have to fight any odds, so when you were planning then why not taking them into confidence??

Please don't do anything like this ahead. India still needs to be educated on riding and driving.
I don't understand why people don't think about their family before attempting such things...
No one loses anything but family loses everything and others just gives condolence and prayers!!
I feel being sensible responsible rider is more important any certification from any association.

Anybody who does this kind of ride should surely take their parents/family into confidence and then attempt.
Congrats for the SS and BB!!

Congrats on the achievement, mate. I don't know what's with some people to give their unnecessary gyaan regarding the etiquettes of riding without being asked for it in the first place.

                          Yes,
                          Everything you said is true.
But what i feel is, "Achievement"- this never comes for cheap. I believe that one should dare to challenge anything for achievements. After this ride, i clearly understood that they simply dont call us "World's Toughest Rider". When i sleep in the night and if i dont wake up tomorrow morning, it doesnt matter to me anymore. I have that satisfaction in my life. Yes. I agree that family is everything. Just imagine the condition of them waiting for 36hrs expecting my safe return. That wait cant expressed in words. So i decided not to inform them.
and yes all my documents have been approved now and the certificates have been dispatched from IBA.
Please dont take me wrong. Even im a responsible rider on the streets. Its my personal opinion.

What is this evryone says its USA, roads are good. I say, Boss, I dont like to underestimate India. Those roads were under construction. So we cant blame anyone...Even India has mind blowing roads. Its not important what bike you are riding. The more the CC the more the difficulty. Its better to choose a cruiser for these rides. As we choose NH's there would be no steep curves to corner and moreover we cant ride at 150+Kmph all the time. High end Cruisers are better.
