Thanks guys for the comments ..

Well i was suppose to ride with sidhhu and praful .. both ditched so asked a few fellow riders ex. mithun , jasir , praveen ,

sumit etc etc.. and all were busy so decided to go solo.

    Destination : Sampaje , kalgundi ( 30kms from madikeri .coorg )
    Total kms covered : 700kms +

    Day 1 :
I geared up at 5:30 am on 24 december and started as usual .. some how reached madikeri by 10:00 am . How was bangalore >

mysore ? pahtetic it was like riding during rush hour time...Mysore to coorg was 80% ripping 20% off road. Went to a friends

house for grub had tea and dosas.. and cont. to sampaje.. The roads are very sceaninc during rainy season. As it was winter it was just too cold. finally reached the entrance .The house is 7kms inside the forest and the only way to get in there is a 4x4 jeep. As i have done enough adventures before and read that the R15 was spotted at kodchadari . Just went on...They had built a road upto 2kms it was fun till there then it was just heaven.

    Few pics in series

    For xbhp

Earlier there was no bridge here they recently constructed this one .

    General pics

I was so enthu that i decided to go ahead and exporer the place and get on track to go home.

    Few pics

This is the highest point where one can go.

After this pic Disaster the bike fell down from the sidestand .. When i tried to lift it i horribly hurt my left wrist ..

Some how bandaged it up and managed to pick the bike . And started heading back to where i was suppose to go

No pics just see the pics in reverse order ...

then comes (Left turn to the house ... )

The tyre made a mark on the bridge and dint try any stunts just crossed it. Before this a bajaj M80 has crossed that bridge

    once .

    Main gate

    Finally home sweet home...

Reached home somehow. hand was hurting bad and i coudnt tell my aunty that something went wrong some how parked the bike and changed. Had lunch at 2:30 and took some rest..

The whole day i took rest did some tp and at 6 the place was dark.. More exiting stuff no electricity no telephone nothing .. this place is 0 luxury . There is one truck battery which lights 3 cfl bulbs and is charged with solar. There are rubber plantations all over the place , Supari coconut vanila coco etc etc all over the place chit chatted with my aunty had din din and finally went off to sleep...

    Day 1 over....

    More to come..

@Navnish: Waiting for the details eagerly.

R1 i took the bike as its light if it was a pulsar it would have broken that bridge into pieces.. I wish some one was there to take my pics...

Guys lets plan out for a ride to this place. During rains its too dangerous so lets head there before rains.

Beautiful place to do a bike trip. The scenery is enchanting and although that bike is not made for that terrain, you still did it. WOW.
