In the photo our bikes parked below the long flags where some Tibetan Mantra were printed. The whole village of Tibetan refugee camp, Maio is decorated with such flag.

Bikers of Assam rides to Namdapha Tiger Reserve & National Park, Arunachal
              Part-3

              The Journey

I woke up at 4 AM & found there is no electricity, damn ASEB. Cleaned my bike, took bath & prayed to God. Just then my friend Jatin Kakoti reached my home. He was very excited for his first official trip with B.O.A.

We started from our home at 5.15 AM & reached Tipling where two new members Sourav Jt Saikia & Kukil Borah from Naharkatia was waiting. So we started from Duliajan at 5.20 AM.

We reached Digboi Centenary Park by 6.30 AM & found there is no one. We said to each other " abey kunu oha nai je "

After few minutes Bijoy Baruah with his friend Ramen Das from Digboi appeared. Followed by a some one in a Blue Pulsar 200NS. He just shouted " Jayanta ahi ase " & returned back.

After a few minutes we came to know he was Pranju Raaj Gogoi. He came along with Jayanta Borpatragohain & Pranjal Deka from Tinsukia. They reached Digboi park before us & were waiting at the nearest tea stall. They joined us, now we all started waiting for Guru urff Abhijit Nirmalia.

Abhijit always rides have to ride after a night shift duty in our organised rides. This time he is riding directly after his double shift duly ( 2nd & Night shift). I feel so proud that our bikers can do anything for B.0.A.

At 6.50AM Abhijit came with our most unpredicatable member Rajeeb Hokgral. We all clicked some group photos & started our journey at 7 AM.We talked with each other The Bikers of the Land of Lahe Lahe is starting our journey 1hr late :-D

We reached Margherita Dehing bridge when it started raining. We stopped & wore our rainsuits. When we entered the fuel pump in Margherita. The fuel pump attendant said " Current nahi hai ". Dhur Power Minister own hometown has no electricity :'(

We reached Ledo where we filled our fuel tanks where the fuel pump starts after rotating the belt by hand

The weather was very pleasent. The scanty rainfall was making the environment romantic. We were cruising in decent speed. We reached Jagun where we all did our breakfast with Puri Sabji. The food was delicious only Abhijit had complaint " Iman Puraise ". He doesnt like spicy food

When we started riding towards Maio from Jagun bad roads started. We crossed lots of Oil tankers which were going to Kharsang & Manabhum Oil Fields. We reached Namchik Forest Gate at 9.30 AM. There is a long bridge few meters away from the gate the bridge is so narrow that only one vehicle can pass in a time.We did our entry at the check gate where the officials said " waha jane nahi sakega, abhi baris ka season hai na "

              to be continued...

Bikers of Assam rides to Namdapha Tiger Reserve & National Park, Arunachal
                    Part-4

We discussed about it and finally everyone said " Darr ke agae jeet hain "Even the officer said " Itne durr se ayae ho, maan hain agae jaake dekh lo "

We started riding through the Namchik forest & reached Kharsang. It is a small town. Some of us filled our fuel tanks there as petrol price is less in Arunachal @ Rs63.

We started riding towards Maio. Though it was raining due to the humidity I took off my rainsuit & ride in rain. I decided to sit back as pillion & enjoy the natural beauty. I started randomly click photos while we were riding.

The roads were under construction. We were riding at decent speed. Suddenly in a turn Romen Das who was riding Bijoys Pulsar applied his front disc brake so hard that his bike started skiddeded... I said " Roh roh eitu poribo atia "Ramen somehow managed to stop the bike without falling down.

We started to ride more cautiously. We crossed Tibetan Village Tinali & reached Singpho Village Charali and stopped. We realised Two of our bikes were not following us. I said " Ki hol eikitar porile ne Tibetan gaon'ot humai dile ".

We could hear two Chakma Tribe personal who were following us on their bikes crossed us saying " Chaliye, Chaliye, aa raha hain, aa raha hain "

We reached the beautiful Maio Gate at 10.30 AM. We stopped there for few minutes & asked for the route to Project Tiger to the nearby shopkeepers. They told us the route.

The road was rough & slightly hilly through the jungle by the side of Noa Dehing river. At some places even we could see some elephant dung. The top view of the Noa Dehing river was amazing. As we were riding through the beautiful forest, suddenly Bijoy turned his bike towards an old compound and asked us to follow him. We stopped at the Tinali & woundered why he went to the compound which looked like an Oil pump station. We started talking " Abey ei ki koribo humale iyat tu eku nai "

Bijoy entered the OIL compound and started calling us by waving his hands. So we sent Abhijit saying " Ki koribo goise sai ah sun, canteen ase sage tat. Lunch pisot kham kobi "Abhijit went and he also started calling us. So we followed them. When we entered the compound what we can see is a beautiful Ropeway. The ropeway is maintained by Oil India Ltd so that its employee can cross the Noa Dehing river. Sadly the ropeway is not used now a days as the production work of Oil is now closed. We didnt have a chance to use ropeway. We returned back sadly & started riding.

The road became narrower. The bikes started becoming imbalanced on the slippery stones. We started riding by maintaining long distance from one another. In some places of time we made our pillions walk behind us.Sometimes we talked with each other " rasta iman beya jabo parim janu "

Though the roads were bad we decided to keep riding with an attitude " Jiman beya rastha holeu jamei "After crossing some worst part of the road. We were tired & stopped for a mango break by the side of Noa Dehing River. The mangos were yummy. We asked to the locals where the road leads to, they said the road ends at Vijaynagar the border village of Myanmar. Actually there are no road network to Vijaynagar. Its only a path through the jungle. It takes six days to travel on foot from Vijoynagar to Miao.

After riding for few more km we reached the Project Tiger of Namdapha Tiger Reserve & National Park
