Green Valley:

Our Next destination is to reach Green valley. It was an awesome cool green saturate place. By the time we reached, we saw the sprinklers were ON. Took some snaps and spend more than hour in green valley. Nothing more about this place, except bird’s songs. ~ Lakkom Waterfall.We reached there around 3: 30.








Lakkom Waterfall and end of day 2 Ride:

Had very quick brunch, since the closing time was @ 4. Still 15 more minutes left we got inside the waterfall. After entering, we saw small amount water falling from the rock, in a dilemma, inquired security “Whether we need to move on for bigger one”. This is the waterfall, it’s not season time. With sad face and stepped in the small water stream passing by. Oh... hoo!.. It’s too cold and slippery. It is always been my dream to take oil painted like photo. Placed my tripod and took few snaps. It was perfect time to take with correct amount of light. My leg started shivering after coming out from the cold water. After spending some time nearby waterfall, we started around 5 30 PM. Around 6, the whole place was dark. Imagine 290 degree of darkness surrounded by you and only 60 degree of light from your head lamp in shivering cold breeze, light too got scattered into mist. With minimal view, we were taking the corners with 60 degree of light. After a 90 mins pleasant dark evil ride from lakkom waterfall, Reached Munnar. “Wow…...!” Hot air from my heart blushed my helmet visor, created oil paint with dark bright red background (tail light of Vicky bike) with bright dark blue (high beam indicator) sketched in that red background. “What a ride…!”.

Like previous day, we started from room 9:00AM and We planned to come back again @ 4 in munnar to visit Sunset view point (Cochin route).

Photo View Point:

Nothing much about photo view point other than fresh corn and carrot. We just spent 10 to 15 mins there and later started to a place called elephant ride.



Elephant Ride:

Reached elephant ride @ 10:30AM. Thought of going for elephant ride, but it was too crowded and elephants were not treated with care. Those elephants were too old and weak and saw couple of bikers. After taking some snap, we started from there to Honey bee tree.

Mattupetty Dam

This place is crowded like any other place, since speed boating was available. We roam around to take nice snap of dam, and then we found a small path leading to adjacent view of the dam. Water from the dam is opened in minimal level for electricity production. This reminds me Herbert Akroyd Stuart who invented fuel injection. High pressure water (petrol) from the dam sprayed out electricity production by running the turbines (engine). May be Herbert also got the idea, while relaxing near the dam. May be May be Not Took some snaps and reached speed boating counter. Was not very anxious about speed boating, but thought of going. Vicky went to collect ticket from ticket counter and came back soon. Only 500rs tickets were available, that too needs 5 members. We enquired some people to join with us, but everyone was already reserved. From there we found a separate place. It looks like India geography, where water surrounded on three sides. We thought taking our bike there, but to our bad luck it was steep path. I and Vicky sat for a while and started relaxing in no man’s land of India surrounded by water and speed boat. This idle place meant for a million reasons, where the speed boat (Bad politicians) passes over in silent water waves (people) to disturb the happiness in water.








Echo Point:







Dry Dam:

Don't know the name of the dam, might be connection with Mattupetty Dam. After reaching the dam, we found it to be dry with little amount of water. This time I was able to take the bike near the water. In happy mood, I just drove near water. Just few steps from the water, the wheels started to lose its friction with the ground. Oh …ho… No..! . Just seeing the appearance of the dry grass, I took my bike near water, but it was totally wet inside the grass .me and my beast started to drag over the grass. It was a freak dance show in the title of Absences of ABS in Motorbike Later people came to help me. From a distance, Vicky was laughing. All the people who were standing near the water left the place due to bad odor from the wet grass. Sorry people, that wasn’t intentional.








Top Station:

This is one of the peak points 360 degrees of mountains. Astonishing view of big rocks textures with large trees. If you are music lover, Switch on your music with closed eyes. I bet, this place will trigger ecstasy in you.

Enjoying like anything. Truly inspiring,urges me to polish out my old ride plans to make it real.
You both seem to have enjoyed a lot during this ride-the nice log and photos tells us..

Last Stage of Day 3 :

Sunset View:

As planned, early to catch with sunset view point @ 4, we quickly started from top station and reached @ 4 30. We thought, we missed the sunset view holding near the mountain. But there was traffic in clouds and the big orange guy fully covered with clouds. From that place, we saw some cars taking underneath path to the bottom of the hills. We just followed for more than 3 km and found many foreigners in trekking suite. The place getting darker and darker, due to heavily covered with trees. Round and round to top of hills, we reached tata tea estate. From their when we planned to take munnar via sunset view point. When we reached first hair pin bend, we were able to view the sunset. Never in my life viewed a sunset like that, flashed with lion king movie memories. Only one Word

Loved the narration as well.. Hilarious at times .....
