Day 05 Amritsar to Srinagar – From Tourist to Traveler
“Sometimes you need to distance yourself to see things clearly”
05 a.m and we all are awake, packing out stuff’s & checking weather outside, it was cloudy, not so pleasant weather to ride & to capture it. As it happened, Grey cloud outside were just waiting for us to come out & it started to rain. Had to hurry up our packing. Covered Saddlebags with rain cover to start our Journey towards Srinagar. "Excited" asked Paddy, And I humbly said "Ecstasy".
The journey was different we were doing two different roles one as a Traveler & one as a tourist. The traveler sees what he sees. The tourist sees what he has come to see.” Until now, we were a Tourist; the transformation into Traveler was under construction. This was the first step towards Traveler.
Punjab was the new state & we all were new to state & the terrain from here. Amritsar - Jammu highway was pleasant & with less traffic on the way. The first ever snow mountain we could gaze on was from Jammu-Kashmir border.
