First of all my quick hello and intro here, http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/who-you/...out-there.html
This is well, my first post about my first ever long road trip on my bike, my Avy......
Something that I always dreamed about, how awesome it'd be to go on it and what all i'd do etc. Now that its 15days old, and I have clocked about 800kms on it, I can surely say its gonna be a part of my being.
A Teaser to what follows.....
This is a travelogue of the roadtrip taken from Dahej to Sardar Sarovar Dam. This was a one day trip of total about 395kms, taking different unknown paths here and there. Its a Solo Roadtrip on Bajaj Avenger 220 DTSi
A trip I had started well before getting the delivery for the bike. This was my very first long trip with the bike and indeed it was amazing. Here's to what all you can look forward to while getting to know my entire trip.
It was all planned till the details and yet there was so much to do. All I had in mind was the thrill of riding my bike and enjoying it to the maximum. I surely needed this break and wanted to live each and every part of it. Here I'll take you all through the planning and packing stage as a photographer, it takes a little effort to get going with the equipment right away. :P
Here are a few shots for all of you to get interested in the same......

All set, bag and tripod packed up and loaded.
After about 15kms, sudden weather change, and cold winds started blowing. Entire road was covered with fog and my speed was reduced to 25kmph considering low visibility.

Beautiful nature throughout the roads made me fall in love with the place.

The destination for the trip, Sardar Sarovar Dam, or lets say just a glimpse of it.
and finally my shot, concluding the teaser....

PS.
I'd like to say, suggestions and comments are welcome, as this is not only my first roadtrip but the first travelogue on Xbhp. So I'll love to see suggestions if any for future trips and of course future travelogues.

I was caught up coz of rain, and that too was only for a 2km stretch on the hilly roads. The rest were completely clear and brilliant.
