Thank you; I was really getting frustrated as it has been nearly 30 hours since I made the post & nothing seem to be moving.

Anyway, better late than never

Ah, so 1 log is up. Your logs are an example of one loving the ride/journey more than the destination and also of endurance. Please continue.

P.S - How far from 1L kms?

This became more of endurance riding or it so happened as endurance ride as there's nothing scenic experience on a fast 4 to 6 lane highway riding through major towns of India covering 13 states over 5890 Kms in less than 6 days. Started on 03-Jun-2012 & completed on 08-Jun-2012

It was a great way to experience the country in a short span of time in a nutshell!!!

Looking forward to this thread. I hope you had lots of fun @aargee. And while you update us with pics and details about the ride, please also let us know how did the CBR performed every now and then.

World is round, there's quite fat chances to cross this stretch again

Nice going aargee ji, still in the process of getting to know the nitty-gritty of being a mod, but any help, please don't hesitate to mention me, will chime in. All the best!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

aargee: Nothing specific since the CBR's performance capabilities are quite known. But since your tour has been quite big, there's no doubt that I have good amount of interest on how the CBR performed consistently I own a FZ-S and a Bullet and looking for an upgrade. So I am looking at a CBR250R definitely. Your feedback would help

- Used HMSI stock engine oil for the entire 5890 Km, didn't have to change even once
- Had a slight over tight chain from start so that I didn't have to tighten it anywhere during the trip
- Did this trip during peak summer where our brains were fried by Sun, esp between Jaipur to Delhi & entire AP stretch as we didn't stop in the afternoon
- Everyday we were covering close to 800 odd Km (pls await detailed report)
- Every night we lubed the chain (Motul) & not anywhere during the ride

- Thanks. Will call you

Sir, certain things are not to be shared on open forum on account of controversies So, I'll be posting only pics & routes. Like you accurately said, 100%, most people are only interested in going through materials, skimp the details & don't give a thought from rider's perspective. So, no point to put those things here & anyway you know everything that I underwent more than in detail sir

Maybe not everything, but try to lay down the important things which might help us 'noobs' in such long rides. Its not everyday we have someone doing such endurance rides.
I know there would be pics and some really helpful points, just don't skip a lot.

Ride safe and have fun.
