@shelton_jh awesome trip mate, you were just short of 222 KM for saddlesore but considering the travel time and distance which you've started at 5:30 ish am and reached mumbai in 20 hours it is more than saddlesore, helmet off!

What a travelogue man, what a travelogue!! When I read that you didn't take much photographs, I wished to close the tab and return back to the thread list. But, I am extremely glad that I continued reading. Kudos to you for such a descriptive narration. Loved your story and felt it very heartwarming :-)

Your trip-log is quite a sigh of relief for D390 owners who till now were apprehensive about taking it for long distances.
I guess people come to forums only when there is an issue.

Wish your more miles of happiness.

Yes Nelson, I see more of complaints than happy stories but as someone said in the thread it is not easy to keep posting the good things over and over again but I still made sure I posted about this trip which has increased my confidence on this machine to a great extent . Now I'm looking forward to many more rides on this beauty!

Thanks a lot! I was doing 115 - 120kmph consistently on roads like the 6 lane and all, when the roads were little narrower i used to slow down a bit but never below 100 and common man you cannot ride this beauty below 100 . Tops I touched 155kmph couple of times but the windblast was too much had to slow down!

Loved it so much. Felt like reading a novel where you get pulled in and read non-stop. Very narrative with Necessary details.
