It was cloudy but we did manage to capture the sun from behind the clouds. We reached Hassan around 06:15 AM and some of us fueled up. In the meantime, we saw the map and confirmed the correct right turn from the highway to move towards Belur. Though initial stretch on this road was not good and were full of potholes, the road started to improve after 5 Km odd. With Sun shining on our back, a cool breeze combined with a stretch full with curves and hillocks on our right side was making the ride better for us now. At one point, we found one lake with a hill at a distant. Saquib,now leading the pack, baffled by the beauty of this place could not resist stopping and so did the group behind. Time for us to pull out our cameras and start clicking



Moving on, we continued on our way towards Belur where we were planning to have breakfast (many of us were feeling hungry ). The stretch till Belur was pure bliss, no potholes, trees on both sides, small hillocks at a distance and some scenic curves (I would definately love to come again). I soo wanted to stop and click some more pictures along the way, but when you are riding the curves, it is indeed difficult to choose between riding and clicking .

Time: 07:05 AM - Saquib spotted a restaurant on the left when we reached crossed Belur. We stopped and confirmed if the breakfast was available because it was a bit early in the morning. To our surprise, the breakfast was indeed ready and hot. We quickly parked our bikes and ordered some hot puri and dosa.

Time : 7:45 AM - With our tummies happy, we were ready to hit the road again and move towards Mudigere. The more we travelled now, the more interesting the road was becoming. It was a newly laid tarmac and at places it was covered with trees with both sides, giving just the right amount of shade. I let the others pass because I did want to capture the beauty.



I moved on from there but found the rest of the group waiting for me couple of miles from where I stopped. It was actually a pee/fag break and I did not waste this time to capture the scenic road again.

Few KMs from here and we found one curve where there was very less traffic. We hence decided to do some curve riding clicking here.

Spending almost 30 minutes and fully satisfied with the pictures, we made our way towards Mudigere.

Time: 09:00 AM - We crossed Mudigere and moved towards Charmadi ghats. The roads were good along all the way, each one of us were loving the curves we were riding. The best part was there was less to 0 traffic as well. Few KMs from Mudigere and we could sight the Western Ghats in front of us, peeping out behind trees.
