    being a par of the gang i understand how the expedition was to venture into a hostile place, that too restricted one...

              What a tour you had [MENTION=7123]sunilg[/MENTION] Congrats! I registered on the forum just to congratulate you and the others who rode in Uttarakhand in the snow.

              I was at Badrinath on June 15, 2013 (Mana on June 14), one day before disaster struck those places. You just revived those memories. I escaped Uttarakhand on the night of June 16/17 in a car, while nature was wreaking havoc. To have rode on those long, winding and difficult roads and in the snow is remarkable.
